Searching for a VESA mount adapter bracket to mount your Dell XPS One computer to a wall or desk mount arm, but have not been able to find one? You are not alone. Thousands of XPS One users were left to figure out how to attach their Dell all-in-one computers to VESA mounting systems.

The ability to mount the Dell XPS One to a wall or any mounting system requires that the computer has a VESA compliant interface to attach to. For the size and the weight of the Dell XPS One, it is suggested that the VESA interface provide the 100 x 100mm or 75mm x 75mm hole pattern for attachment. Furthermore, to remain industry standard 4mm screw fasteners are used.

In discussing the adapter kit project with clients and Dell users, a few requirements for the VESA mount adapter kit were indicated. The top 3 requirements being:

(1) The adapter kit would allow for the stand to be removed and the display to mount closely to the wall. This was important because many users consider their Dell XPS One a secondary media center "TV".

(2) The adapter kit would be interchangeable with all three Dell XPS One models.

(3) The VESA adapter kit should be esthetically suitable for the beautiful Dell XPS One computer and provide full access to all the ports on the backside of the display.

These requirements and others were considered when developing the VESA Adapter Kit for the Dell XPS One, and ultimately met. The adapter kit provides a VESA mounting solution for all 3 models, so there would be no need to purchase a new kit when changing. The bracket interface provides the necessary 75mm x 75mm and 100 x 100mm hole attachment with holes tapped for 4mm fasteners. The bracket is esthetically suitable for the Dell XPS One and allows full access to all the ports on the rear of the display.

What kind of wall mount should I purchase for my 32" Vizio TV?

Are there any wall mounts that are better for this kind of television than others or should I just be looking for a wall mount that fits the television (IE. 32"-60")?

Consider your mounting area before you purchase a mount.

1. How high do you want to mount the television. This will make a difference between a flat mount or a tilting mount.

2. Where in the room would you like to mount it. If you can swivel the television and then view it from another room, thus saving the cost of purchasing an additional television, then get an "articulating" mount.

I always suggest purchasing the mount from a professional, because many times they may include the mount in the installation price. (In full disclosure, it is my job to send business to installers.)
