A wine glass shelf can be utilitarian, decorative or some times both. They are made to clear cupboard space while adorning the area they fill. There are stemware racks that are almost purely utilitarian and mostly concealed and others that are created to stick out and scream "Look At Me!" Some are made to hang. Many mount to the wall. There are stemware racks that attach directly to the under-surface of a cupboard and some are altogether detached units in the forms of towers or tables. There are also stemware racks that are already integrated into wine racks and other types of wine and bar furniture.
You will quickly determine that wine glass racks come in just about any pattern and size a person can conceive. Some are made to take one glass, some can handle dozens of glasses easily. The materials used to make glass racks are sometimes simple pine, walnut, oak, etc or they can be more imported woods like teak or mahogany. The woods used are frequently given to present their genuine beauty without the employment of paints or dyes. You will notice that most establishments that serve wine will use simple under-cabinet or hanging type wooden wine glass racks. The superior advantage to wooden stemware racks, beyond their fine genuine charm, is that wood is less apt to chip or scratch your glassware. Wooden racks are more tolerant then metallic racks to those in a hurry, and reduce unwitting breakage. If you are the type of person that tends to be in a hurry all the time, a wooden rack is probably the way to go.
Wrought iron, stainless steel and brass seem to be the hottest types of metal wine glass racks. The different metals blend nicely with many types of interior decoration. Austere stainless has an striking feel in a room with a very stylish feel. My wife stopped me on that sentence and asked about the word austere. What I mean here is simple. I like to compare styles to things that people recognize or relate to. In this case, if you think of an upscale loft-type apartment with art on the walls but very little in the way of clutter you get the idea of the look. It's not empty, but it is simple, wide open, elegant. Austere by itself basically means severe or strict.
Think about absolute necessity and clean lines with no fluff, no decoration. The result in putting wine glass racks of this type into a room or home of this type is striking without being distracting. Its beautiful simplicity. Brass and copper make for ample blending with many kitchens. They just fit right in with the cookware, especially if that cookware is hanging or racked where people can see it. Iron is a good fit for a country or folksy look but you better have some serious nails or be hitting a stud when you mount it as even the simple small iron racks are heavy. On the other hand an iron wine glass shelf can also tolerate a hefty load. The leading reward of an alloy/metal stemware rack is strength while blending nicely in a number of decorating scenarios. What I find a bit odd is that metal wine glass racks tend to fit into 2 opposite decorating categories the best. They seem to work the best in a simple country look and a very upscale look.
The options go on and on, but getting a wine glass shelf or rack that meets your needs, fulfills your preference and will not fracture your bank account is not nearly as hard as it sounds. The kind of stemware rack you select should be founded on a number of elements.
1. What number of wine glasses do you intend on hanging?
2. How ample are the sets of stemware? You may require a little extra area if your suspending burgundy glasses or snifters, while champagne flutes fill little area by comparison.
3. What area are you placing it in? If your putting it in the kitchen it probably need to look differently than it would if you were placing it in your living room.
4. What are the colors and interior decoration of the area?
5. What are the space restrictions of that room?
6. Is the wine glass rack going to be useful, cosmetic or both?
You probably have a good approximation of what you need, and at least a basic estimation of what to Look for. The next step is going out and seeing what is available.

Ultra thin
Keeping with the dictum the company introduced the Samsung Mobile phoneU700. They launched it with the slogan Style that you can measure. The U700 is an ultra thin phone. It is also called the Samsung ultra 12.1. This refers to the thickness of the phone in millimeters. It is one in the series of the Ultra Edition II Series. It is a very glossy and slim 3G slider with HSDPA support. The U700 model is the slimmest slider ever to support high-speed data transfers over HSDPA. The phone has been introduced in variant colors. Each color adds to the smooth glossy finish of the phone. It is an eye catcher.
Slide mechanism
The slide opening mechanism is quite slick and a pleasure to use. It is very comfortable to handle and solid to handle. A slight push and the mobile opens. The spring action gives it a smooth slide and does not have a creaky sound.
Display and keypad
The Samsung U700 mobile phone has a 2.2" 240x320 pixel display is stunning to say the least. It is a 262K color TFT display with a QVGA. The front plate is made of shiny mirror-like material. The large 2.2 Inch screen can be viewed when the handset is in its closed or opened position. All the information and the menu can be viewed even when the screen is closed. The screen encloses the elegantly encloses the navigation key. The navigational keys are marked by pictogram and it appears illuminated in white as soon as the keypad is unlocked. Here something that is fascinating is the fact that the keys respond only to the touch of the finger. It does not react to the touch of a rubber. The keys get automatically locked through a call thus to prevent the user from accidentally hanging up by simple touch of the cheek on the phone panel.
Camera
One of the most interesting features of this Samsung mobile phone is the 3 mega pixel digital camera that is inbuilt in it. It also comes with a range of photo management functions. Plus there is also a secondary video calling camera. The phone also has an integrated media player which supports most formats including MP3, MPEG4, AAC, WMA, WMDRM, H263 & Real formats. The user can enjoy a 3G video call with any compatible video calling contact.
This Samsung mobile phone will give you download speeds of up to 3.6Mbps if you are in an area with suitable HSDPA coverage.

What colour do you get if you mix ultra violet with infra red?
As in blue and yellow make green. What colour would you get if you mixed ultra violet with - say green?
You would get the average wavelength of light between the two colors. If you look at the EM spectrum (http://www.dnr.sc.gov/ael/personals/pjpb/lecture/spectrum.gif) you can see that when you mix yellow and blue, you would get green because green is between those two wavelengths of light. And it only looks green because 50% of atoms are emitting 450nm(blue) wavelength light, and 50% are emitting 600nm(yellow) light. But since you mixed them together and they are so close together your brain interprets it as green light. For example if you were to have something green and look through some filter that filters out any blue light, you will see yellow because those are the only atoms left (that you can see). Another example is when you heat something up (like an electric stove), the heating element glows red because the atoms in it are shaking so fast that they are giving off the IR (heat) that they are supposed to, but are also some if not most atoms are also just the little bit more energetic to get into the visible spectrum. And if you were to heat it up even more atoms would be shaking fast and faster giving off all different wavelengths of radiation and as you know if you mix all colors together you get white light, so that's why it starts to glow white hot.
After reading others answers i realize that both the IR and UV would not be able to be averaged out by your brain like the visible colors can be. And so mixing them together would still be invisible to humans. However if you were able to remove the limits of the human eye and/or brain and look at this mixture with some device that sees visible light as well as IR and UV all together:
Assuming you are using the wavelengths of UV and IR that are very close to visible light, the color would be green. Because the UV would be ~350nm and the IR would be ~750nm so assuming 50/50 mixture it would be average of 1100/2 = 550 so that wavelength corresponds to green.
That said makes me wonder if that has anything to do with our sensitivity to green light... interesting question!

Trying to get the attention of that one special guy you have been dreaming of can be exciting, but it might not be as easy as it sounds, first of all you have to choose just the right dress that will enhance your beauty and figure and make every man take notice when you walk into a room. When choosing a color consider red, because men associate this color to sex and being sexy is what it's all about. If you do not particularly like red then try another bold color, because bold colors tend to make a statement, much stronger than pale color. You may probably want to choose a little black mini dress, these are very sexy and popular.
Be sure that the dress is fitting so it will show off all those lovely curves and also it should be short enough to show off those legs, especially if they are long and elegant. Some men just love women legs so this would surely make an impression and make him notice. Be sure to sit with your legs stretched out in front of you and crossed at the ankle, but make sure that your knees are placed together, because you don't want to show off the wrong body parts, and always sit in an upright position do not sit fully back on the chair as this posture tends to set the knees apart.
You should look comfortable in the dress as though you have been wearing dresses like that all your life, in other words you wear the dress, don't let the dress wear you. This is why it is important to choose a dress that truly makes you feel comfortable, you don't want to be seen pulling at those spaghetti straps all the time, or fiddling with the hem of the dress, you want to feel at ease, make the dress and you one.
Above all walk with a sense of being relaxed and comfortable in the dress, this will give you a graceful and elegant effect, which men just love, keep your feet slightly in front of each other which will help you coordinate you balance. It is also important to smile and look friendly, say hello to people even if you don't know them and smile at their comments, because no matter how sexy the dress is, if you sit there all night not socializing with the crowd he might get the impression that you are not very approachable, so go ahead have a good time, be happy in your nice dress and sooner or later he will notice and eventually try to strike up a conversation with you.

Snow Patrol are frequently compared to Coldplay in the press, which seems strange as they write far better songs and do not appear to be quite so self-hating, nor as rich. Their delightfully dour little pop songs do touch on the melancholic side of things, but the lyrics are wonderfully slice-of-life descriptions. Singer/lyricist Gary Lightbody gives a shout-out to Sufjan Stevens when on the punch...
Pencil erasers will definitely make nice promotional instruments for your branded merchandising. All the stationary items are widely used for this purpose in the world of business advertising, and this small humble piece of rubber will do its promotional job as well as sharpeners, staplers, notepads, pencil cases would do. Of course, an eraser's popularity in this field can not be compared to the widely used pens and pencils, thus the properties and advantages of erasers should not be ignored. Besides, very often they are manufactured as a part of other tools: at the top of a pencil or erasable pen, combined with a sharpener etc. They are needed for correcting mistakes or clearing a space.
All the reasons mentioned above make pencil erasers worth branding. Put your logo on it, or promotional message and the eraser till serve the purpose opposite to its practical use: instead of erasing, it will imprint the information in the memory of your target group. Erasers are frequently used thanks to the pencils, ordinary or mechanical ones, which have not lost its place as writing implements even in the contemporary epoch of electronic and computerised equipment. That means erasers will be always within a reach of its owner, and also will be displayed to the people around: colleagues, visitors, clients. Your logo will be seen and remembered.
One more positive advantage of pencil erasers is their low cost. There are lots of manufacturers and suppliers which provide a good quality at a reasonable price. Economies of scale while buying erasers in bulk make this variant of promotional advertising easily available and budget friendly. More than that, you can find any type of erasers which will suit your branding purposes: rectangular, square and round shapes, all the possible colours, ranging from simple white to the imitation of animal skin pattern (like zebra or leopard, for example), hard or soft elastic. Even the most demanding taste would be satisfied with the variety of options, and a nice eraser will be always a valuable addition to the image of a man or a woman of style.
Pencil erasers are great as novelty items: they can awake interest not only in schoolchildren, but also in adults. They do very well as a part of a gift pack, containing a notepad, pencil, sharpener and eraser. If you have to ship your products, include a nice looking eraser in a parcel. It will be a very pleasant surprise for the recipients; they will appreciate your thoughtfulness and remember the logo of your company. And feeling of gratitude and appreciation will stimulate them to cooperate with you again. To enhance the effect, you can order to produce them erasers in the shape of your logo, with the same colour scheme: an unusual design and distinctive look will definitely cause a long lasting effect. And of course the pencil erasers are perfect for giveaway events and handing out as a free addition to your products. You can also include them to the gift-giving ceremonies when it comes to encouraging your employees.

All the professional watercolor artists understand the importance of a good watercolor brush. However the problem is that most of the beginners do not understand how to select the watercolor brush for different types of paintings. Here is a guide on how to select watercolor brush.
o It is important to choose a watercolor brush which is made of really fine hair. You can select a brush made of sable as well as other types of hair fibers. The sable or other hair fibers make it possible for you to perform better brush strokes. It helps a lot to improve the painting techniques. This is because such fibers tend to retain a higher quantity of paint when you use them on a canvas or a drawing paper.
o Always select a watercolor brush with a good handle. Most of the watercolor artists follow a certain standard when it comes to the brush handle. You should select a brush with a handle that is 6 to 7 inches long. This type of handle is easy to grip and is not too tough to use.
o Many water color artists use a Kolinsky brush. It is a natural hair brush with a properly pointed round tip. It is preferred by most of the artists because of its slender tip as well as the inherent flexibility.
o If you do not want to spend too much money on a Kolinsky brush, there are other less expensive offerings that you can use. You can opt for brushes made from squirrel hair. These brushes are perfect for various simple techniques. However it can be used for limited purposes only.
o You should go for at least two flat brushes. The two brushes should be of 3/4-inch and 1-inch size. Also select at least a total of 3 round brushes. You should go for number 3, 6 and 10 brushes. These brushes will help to complete most of your painting projects. While buying flat brushes keep in mind that they are labeled based on the brush end's width. When you buy round brushes keep in mind that they will be labeled with a number. The smaller the label number is the finer the brush will be. You will find these labels on the handle.
o Select different types of brushes for different tasks. For an instance you should select riggers when you want to create fine detail. You should select fan brushes when you are looking forward to create special effects. If you want to cover large areas, you should select wash brushes.
o A wonderful way to learn about a lot of wonderful watercolor brushes being used by the professional artists is to attend the various watercolor art events like seminars and workshops.

Questions about Natural Makeup Brushes?
So I already kind of asked this question but I guess I didn't really ask it the right way. So how do they actually make Natural hair makeup brushes? They don't actually kill the animals do they? Because I've looked on here and lots of people say that they shear or brush animals like goats, horses or squirrels hair. Ok, the goats and horses I get, but how the hell would you get hair from a squirrel?? So that kind of leads me to believe the kill the squirrels at least.
I love all animals (especially Squirrels actually lol) and I don't want to buy any Natural fibre makeup brushes if they've come to any harm in the process. So if someone could clarify if they actually hurt the animals I would love to know
Ya, I do use eco tools brushes but they just don't sell a few brushes that I want I'm thinking of getting some from E.L.F since they're so effing cheap!!!
Eco Tools and ELF both have synthetic fibers
So yesh, those are some good options x

You'll waste a lot of money and time if you choose one of the house water filters that don't deliver pure, healthy water. But on the other hand you'll really boost your health if you pick one of the home water filter systems that work.
So, how do you go about selecting from the many house water filters out there?
Well, first, be assured that you're on the right track as you think about home water filter systems. They are really good investments.
Just think how often your use water in your normal daily routine. You're cooking dinner? Then, you will use water. Having a drink or washing, you're obviously using it. But cooling down or cleaning up a mess, you're almost certainly also going to use some water.
In other words, you need to have good quality, healthy water available at many points during the day and not just when you have a wash or brush your teeth. And if your local water authorities are not sending pure water to your tap, then house water filters start to make a lot of sense.
You'd think every municipal water authority in the country would be making sure the water they supply is healthy. The alarming truth is that not all of them do deliver good water. Tiny traces of harmful contaminants and pharmaceutical drugs are being found by scientists in the drinking water of dozens of our cities.
Just take one; Philadelphia. Officials there tested the tap water and found 56 pharmaceuticals or byproducts in the supposedly pure drinking water. These were drugs for things like high cholesterol, heart problems, mental illness, asthma, pain and even epilepsy.
What's very sobering, for those of us thinking about house water filters, is the fact that researchers have discovered 63 pharmaceuticals and their byproducts in the catchment area where the city authorities draw their water.
But worse then this, the water we're talking about has gone through expensive, industrial-grade water treatment facilities and has passed federal government water purity regulations. Clearly, neither are robust enough to stop the pharmaceuticals.
Most large, industrial-level water purification plants are not able to stop everything in water, especially if the contaminants have a smaller molecular structure than water itself. And neither are they able to guarantee that the healthy essential minerals that are dissolved in clean natural water can pass safely through household filters.
And government regulations only require municipal water authorities to test for a handful of pharmaceuticals. The rest -- and researchers across the country have found dozens and dozens of them in our municipal tap water -- they ignore. These are harmless, they say.
But are they? Shouldn't you be filtering them at your home boundary with one of the house water filters available?
The answer is, Yes. Because researchers have discovered male fish living in water contaminated with pharmaceuticals by just parts per trillion develop female characteristics, such as growing egg yoke proteins. Wouldn't the same happen to you if you were drinking water contaminated even by that tiny amount? Personally, I wouldn't be taking the chance.
And this is happening in cities and communities across the country. Pharmaceuticals have been discovered in almost half our major metropolitan centers. Which means a great many of us are drenching ourselves in contaminated water day after day. In these circumstances house water filters make a lot of sense.
Particularly when they are not expensive. Have a look at my web site for my recommendation for effective, moderately priced house water filters. These are systems that will catch the drugs and chemicals your local authorities let through, and will also retain the natural essential minerals like magnesium which your body needs and yet which some house water filters remove with expensive reverse osmosis filter units.
Len McGrane writes about home water purifiers and pure drinking water from his web site, www.pure-drinkingwater.com where he gives advice and helps visitors with house water filters.
Why is Julia Louis-Dreyfus more attractive at 50 than most 30 year-olds, yet she does no cosmetic commercials?
Is it b/c even with all that long-lasting beauty she married a man so ugly that everyone is too merciful to post his picture on his wiki page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brad_Hall ?
In other words, is a woman's beauty only as powerful as what it acquires for her in life?
(and don't BS me about how she's been a successful actress--Seinfeld peaked 20 years ago and this "New Adventures of the Old Christine" she probably secretly funds with her own money b/c she's desperate to work and that BS is NOT funny, at all--she'll be 70 years old and still doing that show even though no one watches it b/c she has more money than god.)
Jessica: No, she bought an emmy--wake up. Is that how you think things are run in this country?
Because she isn't relevant much nowadays, even though I love her and think she is still gorgeous now.

There is a lot of debate in the watercolour world over the controversial Hake brush some people loathe them and would quite happily use them to clean their toilet however I personally think that the Hake is a fantastic tool and I have never been without one.
Why? Well it's really rather simple, a hake brush can be used for virtually any brush stroke if you know how to utilise it properly. I sometimes find that I can almost finish a painting without using another brush. This leads to paintings being fresh because you are not messing around with a little tiny brush adding detail that doesn't need to be their.
One lesson every artist has to learn at some point is...DON'T INSULT YOUR VIEWER!! Yes I know its bad etiquette to shout at your readers but what artists have to realise is that when someone looks at your painting they know that the people in the distance have eyes, they also know that trees you have painted have lots of leaves and they also know that if a field is green the chances are that its grass. What's my point! Very simple, if you are using a small brush you will be tempted to paint too much detail you will paint the eyes on that person whether they are supposed to be half-a-mile away or not, you will paint every leaf on the trees and yes, you will faithfully paint every blade of grass in that field etc, etc. With a large versatile brush- like a hake you will treat the subject you are painting in a broader sense and will suggest different elements of the painting thus allowing your viewer the chance to use their imagination a little more which is (I think) the whole point of a painting. With a small brush you are just taking all the fun out of it for the viewer because you will put too much detail in. Acclaimed professional artist Ron Ranson is a particular advocate of this fast and loose approach to painting and has written several watercolour books on the subject.
My suggestion to every Watercolour Artist out there is go out buy a Hake brush (You can purchase discounted Watercolour Hake Brushes at The Watercolour Artist.com) and practice, practice and practice some more. You will find that your paintings become fresher, yours colours will be cleaner because you are not going back into them as much to add superfluous detail, you will also be able to produce more paintings more quickly. On that last point I hasten to add I am not suggesting that we as artists turn into painting production lines but at the end of the day if you are a professional the more productive your painting time is the better.
Anyway time for me to go and do some work, till next time - happy painting!!
All the best

Don't get Japanese Dragon Tattoos until you read this. After reading this short article, you will be more well informed and able to make a better choice when selecting your Design.
Let's begin. The dragon has long been an important symbol in Japanese mythology. The Japanese dragon is a fascinating creature with the head of a camel, eyes of a hare, horns of a deer, scales of a carp, paws of a tiger, and claws of an eagle. Additionally, Japanese dragons also commonly have long whiskers and a jewel under its chin.
Many people are attracted to the allure of these mystical creatures, but few people truly know what they symbolize. Japanese dragons, like their Chinese counterparts, are distinct from Western dragons. Whereas in Western culture they are depicted as evil and malevolent, dragons in Japanese Mythology are viewed as guardians of the imperial families. For this reason, many people chose the Japanese dragon to serve as a guardian and protector. In Japan, a dragon is normally called "Ryu" (You might recall Ryu from Street Fighter). These mythical beasts command a high level of respect since it is believed that the first emperor of Japan was descended from a dragon. In Japan, these creatures are also viewed as gods of lighting and thunder.
Popular locations for Japanese dragon tattoos include full back and upper arm designs. For upper arm designs, the dragon typically wraps around the arm, with the head extending onto the chest or back region. This however should not limit your decision on where to place this tattoo. The style and location of your design should be personal and unique, as these factors will ultimately determine the meaning of your tattoo.

Why American women who dress Sexy are mostly in Nightclubs etc, But Sexy Japanese are everywhere?
I'm 29 male.
For some reason American women don't seem to wear sexy clothing for the most part. In their everyday lives , i see alot of women wearing jeans and stuff like that. Nothing colorful, nothng cute.
Sometimes in Highschools you see girls who kindof dress sexy but it's not really that sexy. It's mostly shorts and stuff.
But really sexy dressed women DO EXIST in American nightclubs. They wear miniskirts, they wear stockings, and all that.
That seems to be the only kind of place where American women dress sexy.
But in Japan you see more minikiskirts, more stockings, more fashionable boots, like... Everywhere in the street.
Why is this?
Well i'm sure one of the reasons is that since America is filled with perverts and there are also many criminals, that may be why American women don't have the freedome to wear sexy clothes. right?
Did you also notice the men in America? All fat and sweaty aren't they...
The reason why America probably doesn't have women in cute outfits all the time is because they're spending more time working and doing things more important that dressing for perverts. There are perverts everywhere, lol, you can't generalize a whole nation and culture.
Women want to be oggled in a club, they don't want to be oggled 24 7, I've never been to Japan but if I'm taking your word that this is how they dress then good for them. Why don't you live in Japan?
Women aren't just there to look pretty...there's a time and place these days, people are just too busy to give their appearance 100% all of the time
take care
xx
