Soo Cute
Do you own a dog? Would you take your dog for a walk dressed up in puppy clothing to match your own, or dressed in fancy dress?
I think for most dog owners the answer to this question would be a big fat NO WAY!!! However, we see it in all the magazines, the latest fashion accessory for all the big celebrities...no longer a highly expensive Gucci handbag or Versace sunglasses...but a DOG dressed in a matching puppy clothing being carried around in a matching bag!!
Ridiculous I hear you say...!! But is it?!.........
Until recently I would have agreed with what the majority of people are thinking....yes it is ridiculous!! However, for Christmas my friend bought my puppy a little pink hoody!! I thought it was hilarious! However, since putting my little puppy in the hoody, she seemed to love it and she looked so soo cute!! Since then I have purchased all kinds of puppy clothing (admittedly i have not gone as far as to buy her some of these silly fancy dress outfits you see...and at this point in time i can't ever see me doing so...however you never know!!)
There are so many different ranges of clothing available...for both male and female dogs..of all shapes and sizes. I have great fun picking outfits for my puppy and dressing her up, and she loves all the attention! I now have hoodies, dresses, camouflage jackets all sorts!!
Another thing I have noticed is how cheap some of the puppy clothing available is!! I was expecting it to be ridiculously overpriced...and in some cases it most definitely is....but if you shop around (particularly online) you will find some great bargain buys!
Apart from originally thinking the idea of dressing your dog in clothes was ridiculous, my other concern was surely they will wee on the clothes when going to the toilet! All the clothes I have come across have been perfectly fitted to my puppy and clearly designed so that accidents do not happen!!
So to answer the question, is dressing up pets in puppy clothing silly?!? Quite possibly yes....but why not give it a go..you never know you might end changing your mind just like I have!!
