Teaching kids how to brush is a lot easier with a kids electric toothbrush. Children need to learn oral hygiene early in life, yet convincing a child that brushing something they can't even see is fun can turn into a real challenge. What are the essential tools for make up?
i dont use make up much. i would like to know what are the essential tools and cosmetic products that complete a make up box such as types of brushes, powders etc. i dont want to have to go out and purchase 100 types of different brushes as im not a professional make up artist.
Essential tools (good quality ones can be found at your local WalGreen's or WalMart):
* big fluffy powder brush for applying powder foundation and for blending
* midsized blush brush
* large eyeshadow brush
* smaller eyeshadow brush for applying in the crease
* a baby's toothbrush to keep eyebrows in place (good tweezers too)
Essential Makeup:
* a good powdered mineral foundation (Pur 4-in-1 is good)
* a blush (Jane's Petal blush looks good on most skin and can be used lightly as an all over eyeshadow as well)
* a neutral eyeshadow palette (again, Jane has some good ones - find one that suits your eye color) - don't splurge on eye liner - you can wet the darkest shadow with a Q-tip and apply it as eyeliner
* a good waterproof mascara (Maybelline's Full 'N Soft)
* a neutral colored lip liner (Wet and Wild #666)
* a tinted lip moisturizer (Sally Hansen's Moisturizing Lip Treatment in Clear Buff)
The whole shebang should set you back no more than $100 and will last at least 6 months even if you wear makeup every day. Remember to apply it with a light hand - makeup looks better when it looks natural - and blend well with a large powder brush before you put on your mascara and lipstick.
