I have always wondered how those beautiful women can look so beautiful; I am talking about Miss Universe and Miss USA beauty queens. It was interesting to find out that the make up they use has a yellow based tone. During the survey it was discovered that out of 100 contestants 98 of them had a yellow under skin tone, which means the majority of women have yellow skin tones. It does not matter if you are Caucasian, Asian, Latin, African or American, the yellow based tone make up matches your skin colour perfectly. When Miss Universe 1998 and 1999 were crowned they were wearing make up with yellow under tone.

Here are some tips you can try at home to get that exotic sexy look:

-It's crucial that you find the right foundation colour before anything else. Majority of women around the world have a yellow under toned skin, therefore it's crucial that they look for cosmetics to match their complexion perfectly. The foundation should match your skin perfectly and create a flawless look without leaving your skin orangey, ashy and un-natural.

-Follow with powder to set the foundation, if you have oily shiny skin, try ultra matte compact.

-Always use a dark shade of blush to contour and emphasize your cheek bones, to get that exotic finish highlights your upper cheek with a light shimmer blush.

-Most yellow toned cosmetics have the most amazing eye colours, use the light shade on the entire eyelid, follow with a medium shade on lower part up to the crease, and blend the colours to create a natural look. To complete the look ,follow with a dark shade on the corner to create depth.

-Use dark eyeliner if you got dark skin tone; apply from centre to corners using light strokes.

Makeup Help for the Melanin-Deficient!?

I'm clueless as to what makeup would look best on me. Sure, I own makeup, but I wouldn't consider myself a "pro" at all. I tend to just stick with safe, neutral colors since they're hard to "screw" up. lol Anyhoot, I have pale skin. It gets pretty pale in the winter, although I'm not albino. lol I just don't like to tan 'cause it's not safe (and my family has a history of cancers, so melanoma doesn't appeal to me). Anyhoot, if you have any makeup ideas (such as colors, products, etc), please let me know . My eye color is blue, my hair is brunette, my skin tone is cool. I like my complexion as it is and I don't want to clog my pores with foundation.

Nude should be a color that's close to your current lip color. Top it off with a see-through lip gloss, and you'll cover up fine lip-lines.
