Real hair is placed over the tracks for a more natural look. After creating tracks, the weft is sewn into the tracks using a special kind of thread and a needle with a blunted point. A weft is the collection of horizontal hair strands attached to the flow of vertical human hair extensions. Woven extensions are removed by simply cutting the thread used to sew the hair extensions into the tracks.

Clip-on ones are also fast becoming a favorite choice because they can easily be attached and removed. Clip-ons have clips attached to the wefts, which are used to securely fasten the human hair extensions to the natural hair.

i looked up answers on yahoo and this one came up:

"This is what i did. Japanese straightening is good and all, but it is way too expensive. It costs hundreds of dollars i think, so just try this method. =] it should give you the same results.

First, go to a local drugstore and go buy a home perming kit.

Then, follow all the steps except you dont put the curlers in your hair.

Your hair should turn from really curly to dead straight. But make sure you relaly do want straight hair, because this stuff is permanent.

i want to know if this is a hoax or if this is true... please be honest i dont want to embarress myself.
i love my hair when its straight but i cant hardly ever get it as straight as i want it... i want it litterally flat... DEAD STRAIGHT! as i said.

i have curly/wavy hair that is very poofy...

Your hair will never be permanently straight. Since it can't change the hair follicle, when it grows it will be curly/way at the top and straight on the bottom. Yeah I'm "cursed" with curly hair too. Blame heredity.
