The concept of mineral makeup

Mineral makeup is done using cosmetics which are made up of natural substances. Then the company entered into a joint venture with the QVC television network to make this makeup more easily available to the masses. This instantly became a hit and more and more companies offering this make up started mushrooming.

Mineral makeup is available in several types be it the form of foundation, blush, lipstick or eye shadow. True makeup is one which is contains cent percent natural ingredients with not more than five ingredients in one cosmetic item. Besides, it also uses a combination of plant extracts, waxes and natural oils.

Demerits

•Being very light makeup mineral cosmetics aren't very effective in concealing blemishes.

•Besides, they have a tendency to wear off easily.

•Many of the times, it can have a drying effect on the skin, leaving an ashy appearance on the surface of the skin.
