Maximum Concealer Brush

BARE MINERALS MAKEUP QUESTIONSS?

I just purchased the bare minerals starter kit and it's pretty freaking sweet.
Now, I have to flawless face brushes and a maximum coverage concealer brush.
I have two foundations in fair and slighty fair, warmth all over, and primer.
I'm really pale though, I was thinking about starting to wear bronzers and blushes and other complexion enhancers.
Can you suggest any good products from bare minerals?
What's your makeup routine? Thanks for the help!

I really like Bare Escentuals "Faux Tan" bronzer. It's a lot like Warmth, just with more of a brown shade instead of a reddish, and there's a little bit of shimmer, though it's not overwhelming. I just ran out of the huge pot I had (lasts forever!) and nothing else that I have compares. What I really liked about Faux Tan compared to other bronzers is that it works well in summer when I'm tan and winter when I'm pale as a ghost, it all depends on how much you apply. I would really recommend checking it out, especially if you're already using Bare Escentuals products. I think I paid around $22, but as I said, it lasts forever.

As for my make up routine, I recently started using L'oreal Bare Naturale products instead of Bare Minerals just for the price. I absolutely LOVE BM foundation, it's just hard to afford on a college student budget. I found that the L'oreal line is extremely comparable, they even have a translucent finishing powder that I like much more than BM's Mineral Veil. They have foundations, bronzers, blushes and the finishing powder. Each one costs around $10 and lasts forever. So, if you end up liking Bare Minerals, I would suggest checking this line out once you run out of your foundations, or if you have some extra cash and feel like experimenting.

Here's my step-by-step routine:
-Moisturizer is key. I'm prone to breakouts, so it's tough to find a moisturizer that isn't too heavy for my skin, but will still hydrate. I've had great luck with Aveeno moisturizers. I've tried their Clear Complexion moistuzier, (includes Salicylic Acid, so it is less hydrating than the other mositurizers. This works best for me during warmer weather when I don't need as much moisture), as well as their Ultra Calming and Positively Radiant moisturizers. Positively Radiant has been a staple of mine, so I'd recommend checking it out if you can. This can be found at drugstores for around $13.
-Apply your moisturizer to your entire face and give it some time to sink in. I would suggest applying right after you get out of the shower, as you're trying to seal in all of the moisture.
-If you're using a primer, apply this after your lotion. I personally don't use primer because they tend to be too oily for my combination skin. I found that the Bare Escentuals primer broke me out really bad, so watch out for this. If you really need a primer, I would suggest Sally Hansen's "inspired by Carmidy" primer. I'll use this occassionally during the winter and I have noticed that it improves the wear and look of my make up. I just can't justify spending the time or money on using a primer every morning.
-Next, foundation. If I remember correctly, the BM starter kit includes an instructional DVD, so follow these guidelines for applying your foundation. You'll want to gently buff it into your skin, and go over problem areas for extra coverage.
-If you're going to use a concealer, do so after you apply your foundation. I've found that using the Maximum Coverage Concealer brush dipped in your foundation is a great concealer, and you know it'll blend well because it's the exact same shade. If you want a separate concealer, try Bare Minerals Bisque. I got a few sample sizes of this stuff and absolutely LOVE it, I just haven't had the money to buy a full size yet. I'm pretty sure there are a few different shades. Summer Bisque works well for pale, pinkish tones.
-Next, apply your Warmth or bronzer. Apply with a gentle hand and only wear the sun would naturally hit your skin (along cheekbones, on forehead along hairline, on chin). If you apply blush to your cheekbones, do this now. I like to stick with foundation and bronzer because it looks more natural with my skintone.
-Finish with your minerals veil. Dust the powder across your whole face. It's hard to go overboard with this stuff and it minimizes your pores really well, so don't worry about applying too much.
