Bob hairstyle is the most fashionable style with hairs falling down between ears and the chin. Long-Lasting hair curling technique?

I would like to know if this would work...and not make my hair super curly. My hair does not like to curl- and hot rollers will NOT last. So I was wondering if I could put the rollers in (not hot) in my hair while damp- and let it air dry. Would this give me nice soft curls like I want- or super curly hair? Would this last longer than just hot rolling them- and how long would it take my hair (right below the shoulder blade length) to dry approx- it's pretty thick. Thanks.

I have hair that is stubborn too and usually find it difficult to curl. The best technique Ive discovered IS the hot curlers. BUT before you write off my suggestion, here me out: Using a curl activating hairspray lightly spritz 2 inch sections of your hair BEFORE using the hair curlers, the hairspray sets the curls as it heats. Also wait until the curlers have completely cooled before removing them follow with a light shake and a light spritz of a finnishing spray.
