Lady Eyeshadow Makeup

Simple and sophisticated silver and purple eyeshadow look. Gorgeous enough for a night out, but simple enough for school or work. These step by step instructions will guide you through this look...

1. Apply an eyeshadow base all over your eyelid

2. Apply a pale silver glittery eyeshadow all over your eyelid. Try to concentrate most of the color in the inner corner, but continue to move the color toward the outer corner of your eyelid.

3. Take a darker shade of silver, and apply it to the outer 2/3 of your eyelid.

4. Blend the two different shades of silver together so there are no harsh lines

5. Apply purple eyeshadow into your crease.

6. Blend your crease color using back and forth windshield wiper motions

7. Use a pencil eyeliner and draw along the base of your eye lashes

8. Apply a shimmery highlight color to your brow bone and blend it out

9. Apply a shimmery white eyeshadow color and apply it right under the arch of your eyebrow and blend it in

10. Apply the purple eyeshadow on the inner 1/2 of your lid under your lower lashes

11. Apply the darker silver eyeshadow on the outer 1/2 of your lid under your lower lashes

12. Apply mascara to your eye lashes

If you want to, you could also apply black eyeshadow into your "outer v". To do this use an angled brush and apply the black shadow in a diagonal line from the outer corner of your eyelid toward the eyebrow until you get to the crease, and then move the brush slightly into the crease. This gives you the v shape that will give more depth and definition to your eyes. After defining your outer v, be sure to blend it out well, and then reapply the purple eyeshadow into your crease.

Girl, I asked a question very similar to this myself. As the other ladies said, check out MAC..one word: amazing. Everything. Also try Iman cosmetics and Fashion fair, as they cater to women of color. One can never go wrong with clear lipgloss, also try perhaps a navy blue eyeshadow or even a hunter green if you want to walk on the wildside. Makeup is about experimenting, so fake it till you make it.
Oh and as for perfumes, each perfume interacts differently with our own personal scent. So what smells good on one woman, may not smell as hot on you. My personal favs: white diamonds, Goddess by Kimora Lee Simmons, and anything from Victoria secret. If on a budget, try the inexpensive "Body Fantasies"..which smell heavenly for about a dollar or so.
