Good lighting is essential to applying flawless makeup. Ideal lighting is either natural daylight (standing by a sunny window) or special natural daylight bulbs that imitate sunlight. Avoid applying makeup in rooms with only overhead lighting.

Make-up tip #1: Sculpt Sexy Cheekbones

o Suck in your cheeks to create a hollow

o Fill in the hollow area with a light bronzer

o Dust shimmer powder on the tops of your cheeks

o The light-dark shadowing will make your cheekbones pop

Make-up tip #2: Narrow Your Nose

o Smooth a highlighter down the length of your nose

o Dab concealer in a shade slightly darker than your skin tone along either side of the light stripe

o Highlight the bone of your nose to draw the eye there and the sides will be less obvious

Make-up tip #3: Cover Up a Pimple

o Freeze a cotton swab that has been soaked in eye-whitening drops

o When the swab is cold and hard, lay it on the pimple for 10 minutes

o The coldness should take down the swelling while the solution reduces the redness

o Dot on a salicylic acid-spiked concealer

Make-up tip #4: Revive a Pale Complexion

o Tap a fluffy brush in rosy blush and tap it in loose powder

o Flick the excess product off the tip

o Swirl the bristles as lightly as possible over your cheeks, forehead and nose

Make-up tip #5: Fix Botched Brows

o Lightly brush on brow powder in upward, hair like strokes

o The color taupe works in more cases

o The idea is not to go too dark

Make-up tip #6: Conceal Acne Marks

o Spot-apply primer into the little hollows

o Primers usually have a silicone base making them thick enough to help fill in the spaces

o Use a sponge that offers more control and smears the product less than fingers

o Follow same technique and pat foundation over the primer

o Finish with an all over layer of translucent powder to set the makeup

How should i do my hair, makeup etc for skiing?

I'm going skiing tomorrow,
how should i do my hair makeup etc. for skiing?
My coat is white and my snowpants are black.
This is what my hair is like, straight does not stay all day.

When I last went skiing, I wore my hair in a ponytail and wrapped an ear-warmer around my head, like, the kind that are like big headbands. If you look good in a hat, wear a hat and let your hair just stick out under, maybe in pigtails or something. If you wear your hair down, it'll just get SO messy and stuck with moisture, that it's not worth it.

If you don't wear goggles or ski-glasses, your eyes will be watering a LOT, so don't wear eye makeup unless you've got eyewear. If you are wearing goggles or ski-glasses, then go ahead and wear eyeliner and waterproof lash stuff. Nothing too fancy, you are skiing after all! Be sure to wear concealer and a foundation with SUNBLOCK! Your skin can get mad sunburn because of the reflection off the snow. Even if it's cloudy, you'll be outside longer than you're used to, and your skin needs protecting. Blush is pointless because you'll probably be nice and rosy-cheeked naturally. If you want to put on a little, just for the beginning, there's nothing wrong with it. Don't bother with lipstick - just get some really good chapstick with sunblock to protect those lips from wind/sunburn.
