The characteristics of sugar gliders are , like humans, they can be really nice to other if they are been feed well. Sugar glider can be playful, funny, cute and cuddly: this characteristic is the reason why people are craving to have them. Sugar glider are small marsupials, they do not eat much. To maintain the healthiness of this animal, owners should follow the right diet plan.

Petaurus briceps is the scientific name of this small arboreal marsupial that is mainly found in the wilderness of Australia, New Guinea, Indonesia and the island on Tanzania. Member of their family are Wombats, Kangaroos, Tasmanian devils and opossums.

The characteristic of sugar glider has an extra ordinary thickness of their gray mink, this soft mink that looks like hair, have a black stripe that extend from the ankle to the wrist. This stripe is inline with their spine that extend from the head to the tip of heir tail. Familiarizing with the animal can be hard if the owners don't have any idea about them. • Aside from their tail and the body, black dramatic shades can be seen also on their legs and face.

• These pets are nocturnal, they eat plants and sometimes meat, and among their foods are eucalyptus, acacia and gum tree, also, small vertebrates and insects.
• Sugar glider can be compared to the flying squirrel because they have their ability to glide from one place to another. Gliding over a hundred feet from one tree to another, they uses their membrane that is known as patagium, also, the tail is used to control their direction while gliding.
• This animal has opposable fingers and toes, the male glider have a different form of penis, they have forked penis.
• Their ears are large, hairless and thin and are commonly in motion. Sugar glide ears are so sensitive; they can hear even the smallest sounds.
• Also, sugar glider have different unique scent, they uses this scent to recognize others. Male's scent glands can be found on their head that appears like a diamond spot while on the females, the scent glands can be found near their pouch.
