You will want to start with an oil control lotion or mattifying primer. Look for a primer that is oil-free possibly along with Vitamins A, C and E to protect your skin. These products help the makeup last longer and stay fresh, filling in lines and wrinkles and maintaining the moisture in the skin. Now, we are ready for the foundation application.

Apply a foundation with moisturizer and SPF 15 that is closest to your skin tone for a supernatural finish. Your skin will look healthy and radiant. Set the foundation with a luminous translucent pressed powder. This will set a flawless finish, creating a whitening and lightening effect to the skin. This will also minimize pores and deflect light away from fine lines.

Next we move to the eyes. You want to add a light, barely there eyeshadow powder like sand or vanilla over the eyelid and inner corners of the eyes and brows. Remember, keep things simple. Next, swipe a dark brown or light charcoal eyeshadow into the crease of the eyes, blending outward and along the lower lash line. On the eyelashes, apply a single layer of thickening mascara in dark brown to the top lashes, brushing color from roots to the tip of the lashes. Finish the eye area by applying a light layer of tinted brown gel that is close to the brow color to thicken and control the brows without making them heavy and overpowering.

For your cheeks, apply a light peach blush to cheeks. This will give a healthy warm glow to the face. Finish the look by prepping the lips with lip treatment containing Vitamin E. Vitamin E will nourish and help heal chapped lips, keeping them moisturized. Then, apply a nude or neutral longwearing lipstick with a lip brush.

Do not forget to drink plenty of water to help cleanse your body of toxins and hydrate your body. Be sure to eat plenty of fruits and veggies to get the nutrition your body needs to create the perfect picture of health and radiance in your skin.

does the everyday minerals flat top brush dry quickly?

I have the elf powder brush and it takes at least 2-3 days to dry!!!!!! but it does help buffer in the minerals but i hate the fact it takes 2 or 3 days to dry!! Does the everyday minerals flat top brush dry quickly? My bare essentials flawless brush dries within 5 hrs.

wow...that's pretty bad. there is a bare escentuals flat top brush. The heavenly face one. I use it and it dries pretty fast for being as dense as it is. If i do a quick clean it dries in like an hour or less. If i do a full wash, I dry it as much as i can with a clean towel and then lay it flat to dry and it's dry in a couple hours.

I don't have the everyday minerals brush but my elf powder brush doesnt take that long to dry o_o so i wodner if we wash and dry them differently?
