If you get makeup in the center of your cheek, you'll lose the elegant, high-cheek boned look. To stop your face from looking too shiny/sweaty, very lightly dust some powder on. Then, continue to follow the instructions that came with your makeup kit. Every makeup product has different instructions, so follow accordingly.

Putting Makeup on Your Eyes

Eyes are the most expressive feature you have. Eye shadow is used to create depth to bring out the beauty of the eyes, and should coordinate with your eye color and your skin tones. The best time to grab that eyelash curler is right after you get out of the shower, while your lashes are still warm and pliable.

To produce maximum results, your eye liner needs to be applied starting from the outside of the lower part of the eye and extending about 3/4 length toward the inner part. Eyeshadow sometimes falls onto your eyelashes and on oily skin, it can smudge underneath your eye. To avoid this, use a make-up wipe or a cotton bud with a little make-up remover on and gently sweep it over your eyelashes from root to tip to pick up any leftover eyeshadow.
