Cosmetic Event Party

Surely you will have heard of the Tupperware company. The company was founded in 1946, by a man called Earl Tupper. The company has always intrigued me, so I decided to do some research. Please read on for my personal unbiased business review. Are they a scam, or legit?

Around 1960, Tupperware moved onto Europe in order to expand the business. Over the years, the company grew constantly and today, they have offices in nearly every country in the world. The opportunity they are offering is nearly the same in every country.

Initially their product line consisted primarily of items for the use of food storage, so they remain fresh and last longer. Today however, Tupperware's product range is much wider. They now also sell products like cookware and servings, kitchen utensils and food preparation. Let me sum up a list of their products:

1. Microwave items

Products for reheating, steaming and/or serving food.

2. Tools for the Kitchen Chef

Mixers, knifes, grinders, peelers, can openers, salt & pepper shakers, ice cream scoops, spatulas... and the list goes on...

3. Refrigerator items

Product to store food easily in the refrigerator and save space, such as containers, boxes, bottles, cups, bowls, etc... ...

4. Food to Carry & Serve items

Products to take food with you, on the go. Good for children, office people, outdoor workers, hikers and families that go out on a picnic. This category includes containers, tumblers, plates, cups, bowls etc...

5. Cookware & Cutlery items

A wide range of products such as frying pans, saute & sauce pans, and then not to mention a huge range of cutlery.

6. Other Food Storage Items

Items for the storage of bread, biscuits, cereals, cakes, herbs, spices etc.. .

There products are safe to use and have been tested in many laboratories in various countries.

How does Tupperware sell its products?

They are a typical MLM company whereby the products are sold through Party Plans. You organise a home party, you invite a whole bunch of friends and family, introduce them to the products and opportunity, and start selling. You an also organise events at schools, workplaces, hotels etc... ... You will be awarded with free products, depending on the number of sales you create during an event.

Besides the products being sold through Party Plans, their products can also be purchased in selected stores or via internet stores.

The Opportunity

Tupperware Company is in my personal opinion not a scam and totally legit. They have a a good reputation. They do however remain a MLM company which encourages you to prospect amongst your friends and family. You need to host events and organise parties. If you enjoy doing that, then this opportunity could be something you may have success with.

M.A.C. Cosmetics Event?

Does anyone know what it is? My sister mentioned being invited and she showed me an invitation. She told me that only few people can make it a.k.a. be invited. Has anyone been to these MAC events or party or w/e? Or know any info about it? Well I just want to know if it would be cheaper for the people at the event or the same price?

There are two types of events: unveilings and releases. The release parties anybody can go to, they are held the weekend that a collection launches, and they are makeover events meaning that you book an appointment for one of the artists to do your makeup, and it is $50 but it can be put towards makeup. Then there are the unveilings, which are held at selected freestanding stores the Tuesday of the week before the collection launches. Most people will get invitations for that, and they are in the evenings because there are hors d'oeuvres, a signature cocktail/mocktail, and sometimes party favours. Typically people who frequent that store often will get invites, however I called up the freestanding stores and they put me on the list. If you have a freestanding store near you you might want to call them up.

The prices are the exact same no matter what, the advantage is that you get to buy your stuff early if you go to an unveiling party. It is something fun to do on a Tuesday night though; I've been to two and hope to go to many more! They typically only do them for larger collection releases; so the next ones will probably be in August.
