i have a toy poodle with long hair. he tends to get nots in his hair i use a soft brissle brush but it won't

get the nots out. is there like a dog conditioner or a certain brush i should be using. i like his long hair and i don't want to have to cut it off but the nots are getting really bad all of a sudden. any advice that could help would be great

A bristle brush won't do it, what you need to get is a good, small sized pin brush as well as a slicker to be used only for getting out knots.

Good for you for wanting his hair a little longer - I think poodles look much better with a bit of length to their hair, but you're going to find you'll need to trim it or it'll not only be unmanageable, it'll start looking pretty bad.
