Brush Set Sealed
Here are some great laundry cleaning tips and suggestions to help you with laundry organization:
- Always check on the laundry tags before washing.
- Seperate colors! Don't put black stockings in the washer with beige socks, you won't like the results.
- Delicate things like baby booties which are washable should be washed in a delicate cycle if you can.
- Never put hosiery like socks and tights in dryer especially not nylon, always lie flat to dry.
- When you put stockings in the washer always make sure to put it in a hosiery bag or pillow case so they dont get caught onto zippers of other cloths in the wash load.
- Velours and terry fabrics are usually better when put into the dryer for that extra fluff, but make sure to check the tags before if garment can be put into dryer.
Laundry organization takes a lot of effort. Laundry is not so easy to manage if you don't do it the right way.
How to Keep Socks from Disappearing
You're continually busy finding socks withouth its' pair, or tops without bottoms or garments somehow lost in the far corner of a laundry room closet. Staying on top of all this chaos requires a system.
Instructions
- step 1
Before doing laundry organization , sort them in piles. Go through all the cloths and divide them into piles: underwear, dark cloths, shirts, strechies. Do this every time you do laundry. - step 2
The laundry that needs to be soaked due to bad stains, put on a seperate spot, and start the presoak. - step 3
Wash all the loads one after the other hanging up cloths that need to be hung up. Put in the dryer the rest. - step 4
As soon as you get the socks out of the dryer, match up the pairs immediately, so they don't disappear. - step 5
Be aware, some cloths may shrink in the dryer, especially on high heat settings. Always check labels for drying instructions before putting cloths in the dryer.
Enjoy laundry day, it is not a dismissal, it's the way you work it out; if you are organized than you like it.
Tips on Laundry Organization Tips How To Store Childrenswear The Right Way:
- Look through your childrens closet to see if you have cloths that do not fit or out of style and remove them.
- Gather all accessories that specifically belong to these outfits like socks, hair accessories, hats and crib shoes.
- Wash all these clothing and accessories (only the ones that are washabele) try to remove the stains if possible to make sure everything is clean.
- Now when everything is clean place them on a flat surface to put sets together to match accessories to the garments. Stack them one on top of the other , spreading the clothing as flat as possible so it shouldn't be bulky just very neat.
- The best place to store clothing is in a plastic bag sealed. You can use a plastic garbage bag, zip lock bags, or any space saving bag would be appropriate. Put in the stack of cloths in the bag air tight, remove excess air by punching bag while sealing.
- All bags should be labeled, outside of the bag, with a permanent marker the size, gender and season. Example: "Winter-girls-2 years-clothing and accessories."
- It's a good idea to put bags in a container side by side to always have access to all sizes. Make sure to put the bags according to sizes from smallest to largest as you add on.
- Sort containers by gender, one storage bin for girls one for boys and one for unisex.
- Most people like an attic to store containers while other perfer rather a basement, both serve the purpose. It doesn't matter as long as it's done the right way
Saving clothing for a younger kid is beneficial for the pocketbook too, not only for the child. Follow these laundry organization steps and you will always have cloths organized any time of the year and ready to use.

How difficult is it to paint furniture?
I have a light colored wood dining table and 6 chairs that I would like to paint black.
I know that all pieces need to be sanded and primed before painting. And then you seal it.
But this table has turned legs and other little nooks and crannies so I am thinking it may not be so easy to paint...
I have never painted furniture before, is this a bad idea - should I just buy a new set?
Or if I can DIY, what is better paint and brush or spray paint?
1Work in a well-ventilated area. Paint fumes are toxic and can be very potent in an enclosed area. Working in an open garage or outside will offer the best ventilation.
Step2Sand any rough spots on the furniture with a light sandpaper. Ensure that the finish is nice and smooth, with no signs of peeling paint or bumps. Use a damp cloth to remove any dust from the furniture.
Step3Remove any hardware from the furniture. Drawer pulls are easily removed with a screwdriver. Insert the screws back into the pulls once they are removed so that the screws are not lost. Put all hardware in a plastic bag.
Step4Prime the furniture with a primer that is tinted the same color as your paint. Using tinted primer will allow fewer coats of paint. Priming is especially important on surfaces that have never been painted before, laminates or anything that is stained badly.
Step5Use a small roller for untextured surfaces. The roller is extremely easy to use and rather quick. You will not have brush strokes in your finished surface when you use a roller.
Step6Roll the paint onto the furniture using even strokes. Do not apply the paint too thickly, or it will run. It is better to do several light finishes than one thick finish. Wait for the paint to dry in between coats.
Step7Allow the furniture plenty of time to dry. Do not place anything on top of the furniture for at least a week. The paint will appear dry but will remain somewhat tacky and can be easily marred for about a week. Replace the hardware after the paint has dried.
Update the hardware on your furniture for a big change.
Allow the paint to dry fully, or it will scrape and ding easily.
Paint only in well-ventilated areas.
