Beauty Heated Eyelash

Blushing is considered cute and sweet but if you have suffered from it your entire life that is not always the case. Blushing can be an embarrassment and since people like to point it out, those of us who suffer from this reddening of the face know it can cause us to become even redder. Overcoming the fear of blushing can take a lifetime.

As someone who blushes, I often tell people it is a chemical imbalance in my body but the truth is it is due to an overactive sympathetic nervous system. Sort of the same thing in my opinion and others, too, I'm sure.

Blushing is involuntary. It can be caused by anger, embarrassment or stress or a combination of all three. It can make the face feel very heated so the person blushing is quickly aware of what is going on.

In order to get through the blushing process as quickly as possible, try not to draw attention to yourself. Look away from others and hopefully in just a few moments it will pass. Don't worry that someone is watching as just the thought of blushing can make you turn even redder.

There is a real fear in those of us with the problem that we will blush and everyone will laugh. However, most people who do not blush think it is a sweet gesture that those with innocence and naivety about them can do. This makes the ability to blush almost a compliment for those who can do so.

Still, if given the choice most would choose to not blush. Childhood memories of being laughed at or being pointed at in a crowd make us wish it was not part of that chemical imbalance we have. It is hard to overcome this fear but with luck we can downplay it as we grow older. This writer is forty-six though, and can still blush like a schoolgirl. It's how we address that imbalance that helps us get over the fear of blushing.

All and any beauty tips. (strange but helpfull)?

There are so many home beauty tips, maybe we could all share?

-Toothpaste, agree it works great but don't forget to wash it off!! (Cringe!)

-The powder doesn't work for me but dry shampoo such as "BATISTE Original" works pretty well for a morning... by the end of the day its back to greasy though.

-Perfume works well but why not just buy nice smelling shampoo?!

-My brother's a training doctor and says if you take antihistamine when not needed it can produce adverse effects... hmm not sure?

-Avocado works a treat, including hair, face, skin etc

-Agree with hairspray, dry it upside down for even more volume and use mousse such as Umberto Giannini Curling Mousse.

-Agree with eyelash curler, or buy a heated one which isn't hugely expensive and works really well.

A few tips of my own..
*lemon juice on blonde hair, blow dry, really will lighten (mildly) your hair
*TONER is easily the best and most important part of your facial cleansing routine - try it and you might be amazed at how much crap comes off, even after you've cleansed!
*Vaseline is a girl's best friend, especially before bed: Rub it on lips, eyelids and eyelashes, as well as any other dry bits (eg elbows)
