There are some downsides as well. You have to promote the products. This is usually done by having party plans. This can take up your valuable time and if you don't have a lot then this may not be the business for you.

You also have to deliver the products. This takes up more time. You also have to wait until your customers have finished their products until they order more. This does not guarantee you a fixed income, however having said this there are many of you there who enjoy this type of business and who are really good at it. Compensation

In the United Kingdom if you place an order over £72-£135 you will earn £1 for every £5 your customer spends. Place an order over £135 and you can earn £1 for every £4 your customer spends.

Start-up costs

Costs nothing to get started, however there is a £15 registration fee but this is split over your first two brochure orders deducted from your earnings.

If you want to start your own business at home in the UK and earn extra money then becoming an Avon representative is a serious choice for you. If you have the time for party plans and delivering the products then this will suit you.
