what do you think?
i don't mean it like, how would this makeup look on someone who looks like blah blah blah, i mean, do you think is too much, are the colors pretty ,etc!!
How is anyone supposed to reasonably answer this question? That makeup could look okay on someone with certain skin tones and hair color and eye color, and terrible on someone else. It would wash out a person who is blonde and blue-eyed with a pale yellowy skin tone, for instance.

You're different, you're tough, you're matchless... you're punk! You're yourself! And you want everyone to know it. You need hair cut styles that most people don't see in a lifetime. You need to leave your mark. You need good punk hair ideas.
I will tell you about some of the most weird hair cuts I've seen to this day, and maybe some you see every day, but they're all punk hair cuts nevertheless. Used by women, men, teenagers and even some children!
Starting With
The Mohawk. I think this is the most common of them all, but with some creative innovations it can be reinvented all from the start. Instead of dying your hair plain yellow, try painting something different. I once saw a woman with cheetah patterns on the sides of her 6" Mohawk which made it very different from all the others. Scarlet red, electric blue or others might do the work but look for something unique.
Spikes, also on the list of common punk hair cuts. But as the Mohawk, with creative ideas you can make them look as you want. My brother left the house the other day with eight or ten 7" Spikes covered in aluminum. That was so crazy! Although it was for a Halloween party, everyone saw that hair as if they had never seen Spikes in their life.
The Big Guns
I have no names for these, but I will describe them as so.
I saw a woman wearing this hair style. She had long straight hair, but she shaved parts of it. She had like half of her hair shaved except right over her ear; she kept that hair long but dyed yellow. The other half she had a part or her hair shaved but it was minimum and she wore her hair sideways toward the shaved part. Really crazy but the style looked good on her, perhaps because she showed confidence.
This one works for short hair styles. Parts of the hair being shaved, and the parts where hair has been left, tie a little pony tail making that piece of hair to spring up in the air. Dying your hair red or blue gives it a special look. There are a lot more hair cuts for punks but I'll talk about those on another article.
Michelle Diamond has studied all her life to become a master in different hair styles. Now she wants to share her knowledge and experience with you so that you can have great hair cut styles and make this world a pretty place.
How should I be doing my makeup?
I'm 21 & an interior design student. Up till now, I usually wore jeans, hoodies, pony-tails, and flip flops to class. Next semester, all my classes are design & business and I need to look more professional. I can pick out new clothes just fine. But I don't know how to do my makeup. I've always either not worn it or just done it very natural. I normally use a teeny bit of Almay liquid foundation and top it with bare minerals powder foundation (makes the bare minerals last longer since it's $$$). I usually use chap stick. Sometimes I use brown eye liner and Bare Radiance as eye shadow.
I need help. I don't know how to look professional & adult without looking over-done.
I have medium-brown hair, brown eyes, and my skin is about the color of Sandra Bullock's. I don't feel comfortable putting a picture of myself online. I don't want to look trendy or look like I've used magic markers on my face. Thanks for your help.
honestly the make up that you say you already use sounds pretty professional. to add a bit of sophistication to it i would curl your eyelashes and put on a few coats of mascara (diorshow is amazing) and nude lipgloss (try mac's 'c-thru)
Would like to buy ESCA makeup, but aren't sure about what to look for in certain advertised ESCA makeup products?
Well, first let's consider what ESCA makeup actually is. ESCA stands for Electron Spectroscopy for Chemical Analysis. This is the actual scientific process of analyzing the minerals and make up of mineral makeups to be sure that all of its contents are of 100% pure natural minerals and are of a high quality.
You would want to be sure to choose a particular brand of ESCA makeup that does not use any harsh agents or chemical fillers as this type of cosmetics are supposed to be all natural.
In addition to not having unwanted harsh agents and chemical fillers commonly found in many makeup brands, ESCA makeup should not contribute to the clogging of facial pores and is developed to be a hypo-allergenic cosmetic product.
However, just because a cosmetic product is hypo-allergenic does not necessarily mean that a person will not have any allergic reactions to it. Check the contents and ingredients of all ESCA makeup products carefully to see if you are allergic to any materials and ingredients that are in it. Some people are allergic to gluten and other natural products...Bare Escentuals is a major brand in the ESCA makeup industry and they do include gluten in the ingredients of some of their makeup products. If you do have skin allergies or other types of allergies, you should always be somewhat wary of trying new products.
Another thing to keep in mind is the reputation of a certain company. If they have been in business for many years, it is very likely because they have loyal customers who repeatedly buy their products...in this case, we are speaking of ESCA makeup products. Now, the reason why people keep going back to these companies and buying their products is because they are able and trusted by these consumers to fulfill their need of quality makeup. If a makeup company has a large and loyal following, it may very well be safe to give their products a try.
Check out a great selection of mineral makeup [http://escamakeupoutlet.info] products at the ESCA Makeup Outlet. They feature a ton of Bare Escentuals [http://escamakeupoutlet.info] cosmetics and makeup tools.
Loreal Bare Naturale Make-up? Is this a three-step system like Bare Escentuals?
I am thinking of purchasing Loreals Bare Naturale Makeup. I know that with the Bare Minerals Make up line there is a foundation, bronzer and finishing veil. Does the Loreal line of mineral makeup come with three steps as well?? If so, what should I purchase to make sure I get the full coverage from the makeup??
No, Loreal only has the finishing powder and the normal color, which you would have to buy separately.
To ensure proper coverage, I would suggest purchasing a higher quality kabuki brush because aside from complaints about the foundation itself, the brush isn't that high quality and it sometimes is rough on the face.
What it is: A plush, full-tapered brush to deliver the ultimate complexion luxury. What it does:Its broad head boasts soft, mineral-grabbing bristles prime for building medium-to-full coverage with just a few sweeping strokes. What else you need to know:Works well with bareMinerals All-Over Face & Body Colors and Blush....

If you've been feeling a shimmy in the steering wheel when you apply the brakes and possibly the brake pedal pumping up and down, even slightly, you may have one or more warped brake rotors.
Disc brake rotors, the part the brake pad contacts when the brakes are applied, run very hot. If you've ever watched an under the car shot of the front wheels on a race car, you've seen the rotors turn red and glow.
When driving on the street you seldom get the "glow" but the rotors can become hot enough to warp, especially if you drive through puddles of water or snow after making multiple stops and starts.
Brake pads are in constant contact with the rotors. If the driver has a foot on the brake pedal all the time the brakes wear out prematurely and the rotors will run hotter.
Tow vehicles and driving in the mountains, or on crooked roads where the brakes are used a lot, can also contribute to warped rotors, especially if there if water, slush or snow on the road.
If you experience a slight pul upon braking that can be an indicator of warped rotors or brake calipers that need rebuilding. A spongy feeling brake pedal can be caused by excessively hot rotors, which in turn can boil the fluid in the brake calipers. In later cars there is generally an indicator light that will warn of low brake fluid levels.
Regular drum and disc brake type brake fluid collects moisture and can cause problems with the entire braking system if not changed at the recommended times in the owner's manual. Silicone brake fluid doesn't pose the moisture collection problem but it doesn't mix with regular brake and necessitates a complete purge and refill of the brake fluids.
Brake problems can be dangerous and any problem should be checked out by a competent mechanic who is qualified on that type of car's braking system.

first gyno appt and i'm really scared?
Please can someone tell me whats going to happen. I'm totally scared out of my mind. I'm 18 and recently started being sexually active and decided that I needed to go, but I'm regretting the decision. I'm so nervous and have been for the past few days, to the point of tears sometimes. I'm mostly concerned with will it hurt? Will someone tell me please if it will so I can prepare myself. Also if I ask can my BF come with me into the room for support. My mom or my sisters couldn't make it and i REALLY need someone I love to be there with me. Also if I'm designated a man can I protest and get a woman? Oh and I've been on Birth Control for 5 months and I ran out of refill's (part of the reason I'm going) my appt is friday and I started my very light period. (most times I'll just need an extra light pad or panty liner. Will they still see me if its that light? Will it hurt? Please someone help qualm my fears
If you just started your cycle, you need to call and reschedule your appointment.
With you being sexually active, your doctor will likely perform a Pap smear, which is done to detect cervical cancer (not that you have it, it is just a test done to all women). The pap itself may be uncomfortable, but the thing you need to do is to relax. There will be a nurse in attendance and she will hold your hand if you need her to. I don't know if your BF would be comfortable in the room with you, that will be up to him though.
The Pap not really that bad, just uncomfortable, but it is necessary for your health.
The actions required in removing acne scars can be expensive. Depending on the severity and amount of scarring, multiple treatments may be needed in order to effectively minimize the lasting effects of acne. The problem that many sufferers face is finding a way to pay for removing acne scars if their medical insurance does not cover the cost of treatment.
Because removing acne scars may be considered, by some insurance providers, as a cosmetic procedure, it may be difficult to get an approval. If you are considering a procedure that will aid in removing acne scars, the best way to learn if your medical insurance covers this type of treatment is to review your policy. Whether your insurance is provided through your employer or you obtained it directly from an insurance provider, you should have a detailed overview of your coverage. Many providers do not cover the cost of cosmetic treatments and/or surgeries, which are often deemed as cosmetic or plastic surgery. If you still have questions after reviewing your policy, call your insurance agent to inquire about coverage.
If coverage is in question, it may help to have your physician provide a written recommendation to your insurance company. This letter should include the physician's name, contact information and his/her determination and recommendation regarding treatment to help in removing acne scars. Once this letter is submitted to your insurance company, a response should be given within 30 days. This can either be to the physician directly or to you, but the insurance company will reply with an acceptance or denial.
In the event that you request for medical insurance coverage relating to removing acne scars is denied, there may still be other options. For instance, if your condition warrants laser surgery for removing acne scars, the hospital may offer a payment plan to help cover the cost of the procedure. Many hospitals provide this type of financing to help their patient's afford treatment that would otherwise be unavailable to them due to lack of medical insurance. In order to be granted a payment plan, you would have to first determine whether or not one is available. This can be found at the hospital's billing office. If payment plans are available, your physician would have to determine a total cost for removing acne scars and provide it to the billing office. Following the procedure, the hospital would issue a bill and, if you are signed up on a payment plan, would give you the opportunity to make low monthly payments.
The information in this article is intended for informational purposes only. It should not be used in place of, or in conjunction with, professional medical advice. Prior to beginning any attempt at removing acne scars, individuals should consult their dermatologist for proper diagnosis and/or treatment.

Miracle for Whom?: Chilean Workers Under Free Trade (New Political Economy)
$98.93
How does free trade affect workers in developing countries? Economic theory tells us that developing country firms will respond to free trade by shifting production towards the abundant pool of low-skilled labor. Yet since Chile's economic opening in 1974, income inequality has increased, calling into question the benefits of free trade for low-skilled workers. Through in-depth case studies...
Wearing makeup is one of the most noticeable enhancements you can apply. When applying makeup remember to strive for a subtle more natural look, rather an overdone, heavier one. Makeup can enhance your best features and mask over some of your less attractive ones. Be sure and choose the right color of foundation and powder for your skin tone. There are four different skin color types: fair, light, medium and dark, these different skin colors can have either a warm, cool or neutral tone. Be careful not use a color that is too light or it will give you a chalky look.
The following is the basics of makeup application.
Foundation - Comes in cream, liquid or a mousse form and it should be applied with light upward strokes. Blend in a little at a time until it is even and smooth. Don't forget under your chin, use downward strokes to blend the foundation into your neck color.
Concealer - Can be a stick, wand or a cream type, it is slightly lighter and thicker than your foundation is. The main purpose of concealer is to hide blemishes, discolorations, and dark circles under your eyes. Be careful not to apply too much under the eyes, just enough to lighten the area slightly.
Powder - The color tone of your powder should be the same as your foundation is. It can be applied with a brush or round puff applicator. Lightly brush the powder over your face until it has covered all the foundation and there are no more shiny areas.
Eye Brow Pencil - Is a pencil that is formulated for eyebrows, the color you choose should be as close to your hair color as possible. You should use small, feathery strokes as follow your natural brow line and always use a sharpened pencil. If your brows look too dark, you can dust them with a little powder and they will look more natural.
Eye Shadow - Usually in powder form, eye shadow can give your eyes a more highlighted and dramatic look. Light, matte colors are for the area under the brow, this highlights your eyes. The dark colors are usually applied in the crease between your eye and eyebrow, this defines your eyes. A medium tone is brushed across the top of your eyelids, to bring color to your eyes.
Eye Liner - Comes as a pencil, crayon or in liquid form, eye lining is the most effective way to define you eyes. There are many choices in color such as; brown, black, grey, even blue and green. Draw a line under your bottom eyelashes without going too close on the inner eye, just stay under the growth of your lashes. You can also, draw a line across your upper eyelid on the top of your eyelashes. Wearing eye liner takes skill and practise, but the more you apply it, the better you will do.
Mascara - Is brown or black and is brushed on with a wand, to darken, thicken and lengthen your eye lashes. Mascara is the finishing touch of the your eye makeup application, it opens up the look of your eyes. Without mascara your lashes may not be visible at all, even if you don't wear any other makeup, you should consider wearing mascara.
Cheek Color - Also known as blush, it usually comes in power form and is brushed on.
It comes in peach, rose, mauve and copper tones and should blend in with your natural skin tone. Remember when brushing it on, that subtle color is what you want.
Lip Color - You may prefer lipstick or lipgloss just be sure the color you choose goes with your natural skin tone. If you are fair or light, you need to stay away from bold, dark colors and stick with light, muted ones. If you have medium or dark skin, you look better wearing the darker, bold colors. Always be careful applying lipstick, to keep it from looking unnatural, blot your lipstick with a tissue after you put it on.

Since we are in a recession I want to save money on makeup since it isn't as essential as other needs. Where can I find some cheaper brands such as L.A Colors? I rather buy these cosmetics in stores than online because of identity thief encounters. What are some stores that can give me good deals on efficient, pigmented, makeup and makeup accessories like brushes and what not. You replies mean a lot to me thanks for your help!
really nice and branded make up is very nice, but it's really how you put it and present it on yourself.
one could have expensive make up but definitely does not know how to put it on, and another could by cheaper non branded names that looks really good because it was used right.
when i ran out of my really expensive make up i started to buy stuff form target, and wal-mart. they do sell some pretty nice make up, that looks really good when put on right.
the quality of the make up is good, it is affordable, and target or wal-mart has a great variety, along with accessories and such. and i'm sure you're very pretty, and does well with make up, so you'll be fine.

Professional makeup brushes are very different to lower quality brands. Granted, there will be a noticeable price difference, but cheaper brushes, which usually have synthetic bristles, will break easily and are more likely to cause irritation to a sensitive skin. Anyone looking for a long lasting and all-round better quality brush will be more inclined to buy a professional make up brush, which will mostly have goat, squirrel or sable hair. The variation in brushes is much greater when buying higher quality brushes as there are a number of different sizes and shapes targeted to the makeup artist.
There are several types of makeup brushes available, and a professional brush set should always have at least the following:
1. Foundation Brush- The foundation brush is a soft haired U-shaped brush which is usually quite large, allowing for quick and easy coverage. Some makeup artists prefer to use wedge sponges for application but this choice is entirely up to the individual.
2. Powder Brush- This brush is best used in natural bristles and sets the foundation. The powder brush is a large soft brush which sweeps across the whole face. It will have a rounded end making it easier to cover the curves of the face.
3. Blusher Brush- Similar to the powder brush, soft natural bristles will achieve best results. The blusher
brush is a fraction smaller than the powder brush allowing the artist to sweep controlled amounts of colour across the cheeks.
4. Concealer Brush- The concealer brush is mostly made from synthetic hair making it a slightly harder brush. It is a small rounded brush which is used to apply concealer to any blemishes or red areas of the face. Because it is a smaller brush, it is easy to reach any areas that need covering e.g., corner of nose.
5. Applicator Brush- The applicator brush is available in synthetic or natural hair and can be found in a number of sizes. Used for applying eye shadow, the size of the brush used is dependent on the makeup being done. It is recommended to have a smaller and a larger applicator brush.
6. Blending Brush- The blending brush is crucial in a brush set as its natural bristles eliminate any hard lines created from the applicator brush. Usually a lot softer and rounder than the applicator brush, the blending brush makes it easy to move the eye makeup to create a desired effect e.g., the smoky eye.
7. Angle Brush- The angled brush is mostly used for two purposes - to line the eyes or fill in the eyebrows. Available mostly in synthetic hair, the angle brush is a lot harder than the other brushes and is shaped at a slanted angle. It is ideal for hard-to-reach corners and thin areas of the eyebrow.
8. Lipstick Brush- The lipstick brush is available with synthetic and natural bristles making it slightly harder and therefore easier to line the mouth. It is a small V-shaped brush which can be used to both line the edges of the lips and fill them in with colour.
When using brushes it is important to remember to clean them on a regular basis. This means that they will last longer and destroys any bacteria build up. Brushes can be cleaned using an isopropyl alcohol based brush cleaner. Professionals should clean brushes between each use and others are advised to clean their brushes at least once every 3 months.
It is not necessary to pay top prices for a set of high quality natural bristle brushes. Brushes will need to be replaced periodically and can be ordered separately to add to your brush set. In order to protect your brushes, it is advised to keep them in a case where they cannot be damaged. This also makes it easier to carry and organise your brushes while working.
Other essential items in a makeup kit include wedge sponges, Q tips, makeup cleansers and of course, your makeup!

You might have thought that formal hairstyles for short hair is only possible for freaky styles with a retro approach or that only the girls with the long hair grabs the attention when it comes to formal hairstyles. Well, if you did you were wrong, because you too can look glamorous with short hair. You just need to know how!
One particular advantage of formal hairstyles for short hair is that you can enjoy yourself and do not need to redo your hair halfway through the formal affair. In addition, apart from that, you will need much less time than the sisters with the long manes to transform your hair into a stylish formal style.
A combed back wavy style expresses sheer sophistication for a short formal hairstyle. If you have curly hair this is perfect for you! You just need to comb back your hair, set it and add the bling! While if you have straight short hair you would need some curlers and a good hair setting spray. After your curls have set, you need to do just as with curly hair. However try not to comb your hair too much as you do not have the privilege of natural curls.
The trendy 20's square bob works wonders for curly or sleek hair, especially if you have strong and lifted cheekbones or other strong facial features.
If you wear your hair very short, the famous wedging style will do you justice for a formal hairstyle. Add some styling gel or mousse with a firm hold to all your hair. Comb all your hair backwards, create two wedges, and let it dry naturally. You can do the same style without the wet look by making use of hairspray instead of gel or mousse and spraying your hair after styling.
There is an array of hair accessories available to add some glitter or glamour to your short hairstyle. Lately more and more accessories becomes available custom-made for short hair to add a glamour touch.
I have long eyelashes, but they are straight. I don't really want to buy a curler, is there any other way to curl them?
There are some mascaras out there that will "curl" your lashes. At least that's what they advertise. I tried one by Loreal a few years ago, but I didn't really see that much of a difference. The mascara was very thick and it did make my eyelashes pop out, but I did not think they looked any more "curly" than they did before. Best bet is to go to Sephora or one such like cosmetics store and try out their different curling mascaras. That way you won't waste your money with the curler or the mascara if they don't work.
Precise Control Lever Eyelash Curler
