Use fragrance and irritant free skin care products It is essential to use fragrance and irritant free skin care products. This is because many products contain chemicals that can burn, sting, irritate and dehydrate your skin. Im 19 years old and my cheeks always turn red when I'm nervous, embarrassed, shy, or HOT. I hate it!! And it's only my cheeks, nothing else on my face turns red so I look horrible. Physicians Formula Green Correcter. They have 2 kinds a stick (kinda like a concealer stick) and one with with a doe foot applicator. It works really well i have the same problem my cheeks are always turning red, and then i went and used that and the redness doesnt come through my makeup anymore. you can get it at drugstores for about 5 to 7 dollars depending on what kind of correcter you get (stick or tube)

When you're going out at night and if you want to make yourself look fabulous, then you'll have to focus on your eye makeup. There is several things you can do to make your eyes look amazing.
The first thing you could do is to prepare your eyes with concealer to cover up or remove any unwanted color around your eyes. Of course you don't want yourself to look like a panda. Squeeze out three dots of concealer and apply them under each eye. Concealer can help you to cover up the dark under eye circles. Usually the inner corners of the eyes are the darkest. So the first of the three dots should be placed on the inside corner, the second one under the pupil and lastly on the outer corner. And then rub them with your ring finger which has the most flesh, until the concealer dissolves.
The second thing you should do is to apply eye base to your eyelids. People often ask me how to keep their eye shadow for longer hours. And the answer is to use eye base properly. Use eye base before using eye shadow to pretend it from melting.
Now is the time to apply eye shadow. You should start with the eyelids and build it up to the eyebrow. The fantastic idea is to use a three color shadow and then mix them up. First, use a light color that is close to your eye color. Then apply a medium color on the lids. Finish with the darkest color and let the three blend into each other well.
Next is to use eyeliners to make your eyes look larger. Get a wet slanted brush and line the eyes from inner corner to outer edge with some dark eye shadow. Do the same with the lower lashes as the upper ones but from the middle to the outside.
In order to make your eyes really stands out, beside eyeliner, you also need to use highlighter. For a night makeup, pink or gold highlighters are more suitable than white ones. Use the highlighter to draw a "v" at the inner corners of the eyes. Soften the color with finger.
The highlighter has another use which is to highlight your eyebrows. Draw lightly on your brows from middle to the end and rub a little bit with your fingers.
Finally, curl your eyelashes with an eyelash curler followed by using mascara. Remember to use mascara on both upper and lower eyelashes. Different brand of mascara may have different method of application. Refer to the manual that came with it for instruction.

I would recommend finding the same type of product, just in a lip stain. That way, when it dries, not only do you have it not get on things, but it will stay all day, which is very good.

Hello there, I am back and I will continue to talk about my tip for evening makeup using mineral makeup. So here's our part 2.
In our part 1 we talked about applying the shadow that gives a rainbow effect. So this time, we follow up with an eyeliner. A great eyeliner that will be amazing are dark eyeshadows. You first apply it by wetting a slanted brush dipping it in the dark eyeshadow. Then you line your eyes as close to the upper lashes from the inner corner going toward the outer corner. Follow it up with a liner on the bottom part of the eyes, but only line from the middle of the eye out. Smudge the bottom line with your finger or a Q-tip as we don't want a prominent line. For the eyes to have a smokey effect, use your brush to pat along the upper and below the lid. Blend it so it will look like a "smudge-y'.
To brighten your eyes, use a highlighter. To do this you use a gold or pink highlighter and draw a V-shape that follows the inner corner of your eye from top to bottom. Be sure to blend it with your fingers as this will make your eyes 'pop'. For the eyebrows, you still use the same highlighter and dab it on your brow bone focusing on your mid-brow going outward. Blend again with your fingers.
Some extra tips for your evening look with mineral makeup is to curl your lashes with an eyelash curler as this one makes long lashes look more gorgeous. Then with applying mascara, you place the wand of the mascara brush at the bottom of your lashes and wiggle it back and forth. Also apply this step with the bottom lashes as well.

What are some basic stuff to put in a small makeup bag?
I switched from a bag that could hold;
* 12 makeup brushes, 7 mascaras, 4 foundations, 3 blush/bronzer, 8 lip products, 2 eyelash curlers, 4 quads of eyeshadow, and 5 eyebrow stuff, and i'll still have room to put more.
Now my small bag could only hold so much, :/
What are some basic stuff I need to put in there?
I would put
1 or 2 brushes. (the ones that you use/need the most)
Your best mascara (basically, the one that you like the best on yourself)
A good foundation (one that can last you all day)
A blush/bronzer (try to have both of them in one so you only carry one)
The lip product you use the most (one that can match with almost anything so you dont have to switch it out everyday)
Just one eyelash curler (no need for 2)
An eyeshadow (this might need to be replaced everyday if you wear colored eyeshadows, if not, go for a neutral everyday eyeshadow so you dont have to switch it out)
As for eyebrow stuff, take whatever you need.
In my opinion, i would leave the eyelash curler, the foundation, and the blush//bronzer at home.
You might have heard these five principles of healthy skin before, but it is always good to review.
1. Your diet matters - Avoid greasy food, caffeine and chocolate as much as possible. Once a week at most, so save it for a special occasion.
2. Clean skin is healthy skin - Follow a daily cleaning regiment twice a day. Upon waking up in the morning, and just prior to going to sleep, wash with warm water and any over-the-counter facial cleanser that is labelled as 'natural' or 'mild.' Do not rub the skin, but gently wash. Do not dry with a towel. Follow the warm wash with a cool water rinse. Allow to air dry. Apply your favorite natural facial skin moisturizing cream when face is dry.
3. Wear natural makeup everyday. It should have sun protection in it of at least 15 SPF (sun protection factor). Even if you just wear a foundation, that is better than nothing. I recommend mineral makeups of any type. Whatever makeup you choose, always cleanse the face first and apply a facial moisturizer before any makeup is put on.
4. Exercise helps - so get as much as you have time for. Take at least a fifteen minute walk, preferably outdoors, to increase circulation and therefor increase the blood flow to your skin. At least once a week get out into the forest or other natural area and take a brisk walk in some clean air.
5. Facial masks are not to be laughed at - at least once a week supplement your clean skin routine with a facial deep cleansing mask of your choice. Buy a kit at the grocery store or go online and find a recipe for an at-home facial mask. Invite your girlfriends over and make it home spa day, and help each other apply your masks. Cucumbers and yogurt rule at my house!
If you follow these five principles of clean skin, you are well on your way to a lifetime of healthy skin.
