If you're like me, you're probably excited to have discovered argon (also known as argan and argane) oil and are looking forward to enjoying its many beauty benefits first-hand, including: softer skin, diminished wrinkles, more even skin tone, reduced scarring, lustrous nails and hair - and even relief from skin conditions such as eczema and psoriasis.
But before you rush off and purchase the first bottle you find of this liquid gold, be sure to read the below tips. You will soon realize that, firstly, not all argon oil is created equal. And, secondly, even the best raw material can be easily compromised due to the commercial manufacturing and treatment processes used by some cosmetics companies.
TOP 10 TIPS FOR BUYING ARGON OIL:
1. Make sure you are buying authentic argon oil. If you are buying argon oil from a reputable (online) retailer in the USA or Europe, you can skip this tip and go straight to #2. Better yet, go directly to the cooperatives and buy it straight from the source.
2. If you are choosing to use argon oil as a beauty product, make sure you buy cosmetic grade and not culinary argon oil. The nuts destined for culinary oil are roasted to bring out their distinctive nutty flavor; those that will be used for skin- and hair-care products are usually left raw to maintain the integrity of the essential fatty acids and vitamins.
3. To gain the maximum beauty benefit, choose argon oil that is all-natural and preferably certified organic. That way you don't have to worry about how it was produced.
4. Choose cold-pressed or first cold-pressed argon oil. If you want to buy the best argon oil, look for oil that is labeled "cold-pressed" or, even better, "first cold-pressed." Cold-pressed means that the oil was not heated over a certain temperature (usually 80 degrees Fahrenheit) during processing, thus retaining more nutrients and undergoing less degradation. First cold-pressed, which is of even higher quality than cold-pressed, means that the oil was made with the first pressing of the argon nuts.

6. To preserve as many of the oil's properties as possible (and be more eco-friendly), opt for a dark-colored, UV-protected glass bottle, rather than a plastic container.
7. If you are not buying 100% pure argon oil, research the other ingredients in the finished product. You will want to double check that they are not diminishing the oil's natural properties, such as acetic acid is thought to do.
8. Given its price, make sure that there is a high enough concentration of argon oil in any finished product you buy to make an actual difference in your skin. Since argon oil has become the latest miracle ingredient in the beauty industry, its mere mention has lots of advertising power! A quick and easy way to ensure you are getting good amounts is to read the label. If argon oil is listed as one of the first ingredients, your money will be well-spent. 9. If you are sensitive to the natural nutty odor of argon oil (which does dissipate upon application), choose a product that has been deodorized.

Be sure to choose a smaller size, opaque bottle though as, once open, the oil should be consumed relatively quickly and ideally be refrigerated. (As a side note, culinary argon oil should not be heated. Simply drizzle it over salads, vegetables or fish for a healthy, gourmet taste).

You should always curl your lashes BEFORE mascara, to avoid breaking them. I would try curling them, then immediately applying mascara.
As you're curling, start at the base. Hold the curler in firmly for a fre seconds, and then "bounce" the curler down the length of your lashes (in other words, make tiny little quick squeezes with the curler all the way to the tip) - apply two coats of mascara (I absolutely love Maybelline's Sky High Curves Waterproof).

I have the brush set, both eye palettes (too dolly and lucky tom), 4 lip glasses(fast friends, nice to be nice, nice kitty and mimmy) and one lip conditioner (popster). I love the brush kit, its a great deal compared to how much you would send on each brush individually. The palettes are good but you can find colors very similar if not better for the most part. Plus each one has a normal collection color. but they are fun and definitely worth it if you don't have a ton of colors. Besides the brush kit the lipglass are by far my favorite part of the collection. They seem to look good on everyone i have seen and they reflect some color rather than going on clear.
As for when it ends, it is limited edition, so they only made so much and it is around till it sells out, which as of right now is pretty fast. They make only a certain amount and release it but they don't remake it. It has been out on the market a little over a week and most pieces are selling out if not already sold out. Most of the accessories sold out the day of release but you can find them on ebay.

Incandescent lighting makes us look better, which is probably what you have at home. At schools they usually have fluorescent lighting, which makes us look not so great. Incandescent lighting brings out warm tones while fluorescent lighting brings out cool tones.

I have been to my physical therapist since my last posting and he said that after I recieve my MRI that I might have to recieve arthroscopic surgery on my knee. I've had an arthroscopic knee surgery when I was 13 (currently I'm 14) . The recovery time is about 12 weeks, but can vary depending on what they do in surgery (I had some pretty major stuff done). The recovery for me was worse because I ended up having really rare complications in how my body reacted to the surgery, so I'm still recovering (and have been for the past year and a half) but that's only because my body reacted so horribly to the surgery which is rare that you get Complex Regional Pain Syndrome like I have. The recovery isn't too bad, and if you work hard you should be able to recover in 6 weeks or so. Good luck!

In a review of Avon Smooth Mineral Makeup, it is a good product that is more affordable than many brands. Most of the benefits are the same as any mineral makeup will give you. Because some blends include iron oxides and bismuth, there is a chance that some people can be allergic and the retinyl palmitate is a derivative of retinol, which can cause redness in some skin.
Although retinol is a form of Vitamin A, so it is good for your skin overall. We didn't find much bad to comment on, other than the irritants it contains, but many other mineral makeup brands contain them, too. Those that are have ultra sensitive skin should use lightly at first, to see if you get an allergic reaction dog.

Which colour would look best...?
I'm flipping through the avon books right now and I really want to get a lipstick but I'm not sure which colour will suit me so my guess is as good as yours but I don't like the darker colours on a dark skin tone. I'm indian so my skin is brown and a lot of lipstick colours don't work with my skin tone.

The first thing that came to my mind, even before I checked out the site, was a shimmery copper or bronze shade. So I would suggest Bronze Treasure from that link. It will look great, I can practically guarantee it.
With your skin tone, you can do browns and berries best. Reds and corals won't look right, and pinks and nudes will be too pale. There are zillions of shades of berries and browns, though, so don't despair.
My best suggestion, before shelling out your hard-earned money for one that might not be right, is to visit a Merle Norman store or a cosmetics counter at a department store. There you can try some for free, and ask for samples of ones you like to try at home. When you find your favorite shade, you can match it up to one in the Avon catalog, or at your local drugstore, if you don't want to pay the high price. Or ask your Avon rep if she has some free samples, they often do.
I used to do make-overs for all my friends, and was very good at it. I think you'll like my suggestion.

If you want to create the perfect pinstriping designs on any vehicle you need to make sure that the brushes you use have been well cared for. In this article we offer some tips on how to care for pinstriping brushes so that they won't have to be replaced any time soon.
1. The glue used to hold the bristles of the pinstriping brushes to the handle are water soluble and if exposed to water too much then it will become softened. Because of this the hairs will eventually become loose and start to fall out so avoid cleaning them in water if you can.
To clean the brush it is far better if you use a mineral spirit instead. It is best to initially rinse the brushes in the minerals spirits you have been using for cleaning the pallet whilst you are pinstriping. Although the cup in which the spirits is may look unusable remember you are using this to get most of the paint out of the brush.
After you have rinsed in the used spirits now to get rid of even more of the paint wipe the brush with a paper towel. Then having poured some fresh mineral spirits into another cup or jar you will be able to wash the rest of the paint out from it. Remember don't just to wash the hairs of the brushes in the spirits but also the furrel as well.
You will recognize that your brush is thoroughly clean because no more paint will appear on the fresh paper towel you have used. After you are happy that the pinstriping brushes have been thoroughly cleaned you squeeze a small amount of 3 in 1 oil on to it and then shape it with your fingers. Using the oil prevents any oil that remains not to become and hardened and which could ultimately ruin the brush.
2. Although you may find it difficult to handle the brushes initially you should never be tempted to trim them. Sometimes however there may be a need to remove a small amount of the brushes tip but b before you do so you need to look closely at your pinstriping brush first. If you then decide to trim off any of the hairs then do so very carefully.
When trimming it is crucial that you oil the brush first as this will help it form the natural shape and then lay the brush flat on a sheet of paper or some other white surface. Doing this you will then see just what needs to be trimmed and very carefully using a sharp razor blade trim only the smallest amounts of the brushes hair as you need to from the tip. If you take off too much hair this will make the tip of the brush blunt and it won't be able to create those perfect pinstripes for you.
3. If you find that your brushes begin to develop kinks or waves in them then you should find this problem relatively easy to fix. To remove these kinks or waves you first need to rinse any pinstriping brushes thoroughly in the mineral spirits and then rinse them very carefully in water. However, you must make sure that the furrel into which the hairs are set does not get wet and then dab the brushes on a paper towel to help remove as much water as possible.
After removing as much of the excess water as you can now add a little dish soap to the hairs and then shape the brush using your fingers. If the problem isn't too severe then lay the pinstriping brushes flat, but if it is then put it between the pages of a book which will help to press it flat. You need to leave the brushes like this for around a week then after this time rinse the soap out with mineral spirits and hopefully its original shape will have been restored.

I use Physicians Formula Mineral Wear foundation.
It is REALLY good, but when I apply it, my face looks fake, powdery, and flaky.
Before applying, I wash my face with water, dry it, and then wipe it with a facial pad.
I use a brush to apply it, and buff with the brush, so its a nice, smooth application, so I don't know where I went wrong!
What are some ways to put foundation on properly {without caking it on my face with dozens of layers}, prevent the powderness & flakiness, and make it look as natural as possible?

Oh, btw, the foundation is a powder, not liquid, not anything else, its not a powder.
heey, i had the exact same problem, so i bought a pre-foundation skin primer. it's really good and all the flaking and dryness is gone. still wash your face and all just use this after wards. it's made so that your foundation and other make-up just glides over it and it gives you are really nice and natural look. i got mine from napoleon pedris and it's really good.
