The rapid growth of medical tourism, when people travel to other countries to seek healthcare, has been greatly influenced by the cost factor - prices for medical procedures may be two to ten times lower abroad than in one's home country. Consumers from developed nations are discovering that they can receive high-quality treatment more cheaply in some developing countries. Along with the increasing demand for plastic surgery procedures, many people travel abroad for reconstructive or cosmetic surgery as well.
For many people, the idea of having a cosmetic surgery at all, not to mention going abroad for it, may be scary. However, a recent research done by Mintel in Britain reveals that 690,000 cosmetic surgery procedures have been performed on British adults in 2006 alone. But the prices charged by the UK clinics are high, so Britons seem to be increasingly looking overseas for a better deal.
A recent survey carried out by "Cosmetic Surgery Answers" shows that 70 percent of British citizens would go to Europe to undergo cosmetic surgery, 17 percent of them would choose Eastern Europe.
One of the countries representing the Eastern European region is Lithuania. Lithuanian plastic surgery clinics (almost all of them established in the capital Vilnius and the second largest city Kaunas) boast up-to-date equipment and can fully cater westerners' needs. The surgeons' experience gained abroad and years of surgical practice at home have helped thousands of patients in boosting their appearance and self-confidence. Last but not least, UK residents and people from other European countries can have cosmetic surgery for a twice lower price here.
In Lithuania, Britons can have cosmetic surgery procedures at a price 2-3 times lower than in the UK. A facelift can cost from about £4,000 in Britain, and in Lithuania it can cost £1,800. Ear surgery costs from about £2,000 in Britain; in Lithuania it costs £700. Tummy-tuck procedure may cost about £3,500 in the UK, and £1,700 in Lithuania.
Foreigners who have had plastic surgery in Lithuania seem to be satisfied with their choice from every perspective. Robert Wilson from Great Britain had a plastic surgery procedure a couple of years ago in Kaunas.

As with any type of painting, the success in executing a good facial makeup lies greatly in the tools used to apply the different colors. Some women are adept at using their bare fingers to apply cosmetics, but the best makeup brushes will certainly deliver the right effects at the right corners.
The basic among the makeup brushes that should be present in every woman's makeup set is the powder brush. It is a full brush and is the largest among the set, designed to evenly apply loose makeup powder on the face. Concealer brushes are meant solely for concealer application. A tapered square head with flat firm brushes is the appropriate concealer brush to be used under the eye area. Tapered, round brushes on the other hand should be used to cover blemishes in other facial zones. Concealer brushes should have long brushes for flexibility in under the eye makeup application and they should have the right weight to place the right pressure without straining the hands. Dab the dark spot with the concealer and blend well using precise, short strokes.
A perfect blusher blush should have a full head of slightly tapered brushes for even and natural distribution of blush pigments. The small brushes that often comes with the blush are oftentimes too hard bristled that they pick up more pigments than necessary. Naturally blend the blush pigment into the skin tone by upwardly sweeping the blusher blush from the cheek mound up to the hairline.
A medium sized eyeshadow brush is the best to use for a multi purpose function. Use the side part to apply color across the entire eyelid area and the tip edge to define the eyelid crease. Do not forget to blend and sweep to achieve a harmonious skin tone hue. An eyebrow brush will take care of the final touches of defining the brows.

My first conscious brush with stagnant energy occurred during my first semester in school to study Acupuncture. I was returning back to school for a master's in Oriental medicine after having been away from the academic world for years (okay, maybe decades). I can remember thinking at the time, "How hard could this be?" Much to my surprise, it was incredibly hard. I had classes during the day and studied every night and weekends. I was working part time and my husband traveled for his business. My kids were still in grade school and junior high, and they weren't happy with my return to school.
About two months into the semester, I began to get this funny feeling in my throat. It felt like a lump stuck somewhere below my Adam's apple and above my sternum that made it hard for me to swallow and very uncomfortable to eat. After lots of antacids and a trip to my doctor, I ended up in the Chinese medicine teaching clinic at my school. Within the framework of Chinese medicine, my symptoms were easily diagnosed. I had something called Plum Pit Qi, which sounded exactly like what I was feeling--a plum pit was caught I my throat. I learned that Plum Pit Qi is a kind of stagnation of Qi (pronounced chee), or energy, and occurs as the result of a situation that is figuratively too difficult to swallow.
While the acupuncture and herbal treatments at the clinic were very effective, I also had to acknowledge that I had taken on too much. I had to either quit school or find a way to balance all the commitments I had taken on. After retooling my life somewhat, quitting my job, and studying when my kids were occupied or in bed, I managed to get through that first semester and ultimately, three years later, complete my master's degree.
Perhaps what was most startling to me from this whole episode was how powerful the physical symptoms were from stress that was purely emotional. In Chinese medicine this phenomenon is related to the smooth flow of Qi, or energy, throughout the body. Qi can be described as life energy or the energy necessary for transformation to occur.
Every cell in our bodies make energy. One of the foundations of Chinese medicine is that the energy in our bodies move along pathways, and good health is dependent on the unobstructed flow of that energy throughout the pathways of the body. The smooth flow of Qi in our body is most closely related to the Liver, the symbolic organ system (not the actual Liver) associated with the element of wood. This may relate the hard wood found in trees, but the color associated with the Liver is green or blue/green, suggesting younger plants and their slow, steady growth upward toward the sun. If some obstacle (or stressor) inhibits that growth, then the plant will grow crooked and become deformed.
While the Liver is responsible for the smooth flow of Qi, it also has a strong relationship to the smooth flow of emotions. When our emotional state is even, Qi will flow evenly throughout our body. However, during emotional upheaval or unrelenting stress, our Qi tends to stagnate. This stagnation is much like turning on the water to your garden hose and then bending it until the flow is cut off. This blockage of Qi can cause numerous physical symptoms, from my Plum Pit Qi, to insomnia, headaches, gynecological problems, and pain.
Ultimately, smooth emotions equal smooth Qi. Unfortunately, this is easier said than done. We have all, at one time or another, become caught up in the way we think things should be and have trouble accepting what really is. For many of us this feeling is constant, and when the feeling becomes overwhelming, our Qi becomes bound up and begins to stagnate. This feeling can take the form of too many things to do and not enough time, a job we don't like, people who annoy us, or anything that makes us unhappy, uncomfortable, frustrated, or angry. The end result may be overwhelming stress, anxiety, depression, or panic attacks.
On a daily basis, we see people attempting to move Qi, some more successfully than others. On any given weekend morning during the summer, we see thousands of people outside running, biking, and walking. They usually feel better after having exercised, because physical activity moves Qi. However, practitioners of Chinese medicine would caution that excessive exercise can be depleting.
Drinking a cup of coffee speeds things up and also moves Qi, too. However, coffee is a diuretic, and excess can also be depleting. Like coffee, chemical use/abuse is an attempt to move stagnant Qi and feel better, but the depleting effects of such practices are obvious.
Perhaps the most successful ways of dealing with stagnant Qi, and ultimately the emotions, are some of the Eastern practices, such as taiqi, qigong, or yoga. These combine gentle exercise with breathing techniques that allow us to even out emotions, nourish our bodies, and smooth Qi. Through proper breathing and quieting the mind, meditation is also an excellent way to calm the emotions and allow the Qi to move freely.
When these practices aren't enough, or when stagnant Qi begins to manifest as illness, acupuncture can help bring relief. Many people believe that acupuncture is best used for relieving pain. However, it's also very effective in treating stress-related disorders such as irritable bowel, headaches, PMS, depression, and insomnia.
Like the "Plum Pit" caught in my throat, many physical symptoms that make us uncomfortable are actually a barometer to our emotional health. Often, when we have ignored the obvious signs that we are doing too much or need to make an emotional change, this discomfort finally gets us to stop and take our lifestyle into account.

How do I fix my Photoshop Brush tool?
I accidentally changed my brush tool, and I cant get it to go back to normal. Usually the brush tapers at each end, but now it doesn't its the same size no matter how lightly I press the pen against the tablet. How do I get it back to normal?
Well, I'm using CS3 and I tried what you said, Devo, and it didn't work : ( so I'm gonna try reinstalling the drivers unless anyone else suggests something.
Try resetting Photoshop's settings back to default - it may reset odd behaviour in Photoshop.
While Photoshop is starting, press and hold down the keys on Windows or
Custom brushes and patterns will not be removed, luckily, but all the settings will be returned to 'factory' defaults.
You can do the same by deleting the preferences file.

Working as a pageant director for the last 16 years I have seen fads and changes in the Beauty Pageant Industry come and go. The Pageant Industry mimics life in that change is inevitable. Here are my predictions for the near future based on my pageant directing experience.
1 More Contestants are choosing a Sandal Type shoe for swim suit competition. Contestants are choosing a sandal type shoe with a three to four inch heel for swim suit competition. The sandal type shoe gives a less formal look to the overall impressions, as compared to the old type pump shoe we have been using for the past 20 years. The color remains the same. The taupe color shoe gives a Longer Look to the leg as it BLENDS in with most skin tones. When modeling swim wear, always choose a color closes to the natural color leg. This color provides less distraction when being judged and scored. When choosing a shoe for swim wear competition you want a shoe that will not take away from the flow of the leg. If choosing a different shoe color then taupe,it will draw more attention to the foot and cut off the smooth flow of the foot to the body that we are aiming for. If choosing a clear shoe, this shoe may cause the look to appear more formal. If you decide to select a clear shoe for swim wear, make sure the outer color is taupe.
2 Natural looking Hair Styles are making a statement in the pageant industry. Over the years hair styles have changed slowly . For the past 50 years the Teased Style said "I have a Royal Image" with its fixed and elegant look. This look has been consistent with the exception of the 1970s. The straight look is being used again. The flat iron is becoming a MUST to have for the 2000's pageant contestant. Hair is worn down for most Interview competitions regardless of what system the contestants is competing in. For swim suit or sportswear competitions, the contestant usually pulls the hair back in a sleek pony tail, or half up on the sides. Some ladies still use the heat rollers to give |a fuller look to the hair with a little wave. This also looks Natural and most pageant systems at the state or national level don't allow stylist in the dressing rooms. The contestant must manage her hair with out the assistance of a professional. A simple French twist or a Low pony Tale is being used in evening gowncompetitions. The statement made is formal yet natural.
3. Evening Gown are going to Ruffles One of the styles that making a come back is the Ruffle in Evening Gown competition. Ruffles give a look of free style and a flirty appeal. The ruffles are best used at the bottom of the dress for a fuller and bolder look. The ruffles are rarely used at the top of the gown because it may cause a distraction to the contestants hair style and facial beauty. The Miss. USA & Miss. Universe contestants use the Ruffle to catch the eye of the judges, and to add Glamor to the overall impression.
4. Dramatic Eye Shadow is making a Dramatic Statement. One thing coming back for sure is the Smoky and Dramatic Eye! The 1960's set the look for Glamor Eye Shadow. | Stage make up should be different and more dramatic for pageant competition. Contestants use a lighter and brighter color at the top of the eye right under the brow. Using a slight darker color on the eye lid, followed by a darker color to contour the eye, gives that dramatic appearance that all delegates want. The Eyes and Eye Brow are the focusing point when looking at one's face. So the brow should compliment the eye shadow by filling in with a darker powder on the brow to Complete the Look. The Glamor look takes practice and can be achieved even by the beginner delegate.
5. The Classic Swim Suit NO MORE! The Classic One Piece swim suit is finally fading away and taking a back seat to the two piece wonder. The Bikini is being worn by all contestants in different pageant systems.. Miss USA, Miss. Universe and Miss America are all wearing the two piece swim suit. At one time the delegate had to wear a one color suit. Now, two colors are being worn, sometimes three and with patterns. In this era the average pageant contestant must be physically fit to sport the Bikini! The one piece swim suit is still being worn by the Mrs. & The Ms. Contestants. This suit gives the elegant look for the ladies that have had children. It also covers stretch marks and imperfections. One thing remains the same, no matter what style chosen, the suit should be Fitted to compliment the contestant. These are my predictions for the upcoming pageant seasons. What is yours?

If you want to decorate your home or office but have a limited budget, or need to jazz your place up when selling your home, then creating your own artwork for under $10, and in under 1 hour is the best way to do it. You don't need to be an artist to create a work of art, all you need is to follow the steps below and your home or office will have a decorator look in no time.
What you need -
A range of different colour acrylic paint tubes, plus one white or black paint.
A plastic bowl for mixing paint.
A packet of foam brushes in various widths.
A paint splash sheet or old newspapers.
A water container to wet your foam brushes.
A stick from the garden or blunt pointed object like a chop stick.
TIP
- If you don't already have acrylic paint and foam brushes, you can get these from any $2 bargain stores (AU - Crazy Clarks, The Warehouse, etc), or online art supply estores. Your initial outlay for (4) medium tubes of paint and a packet of foam brushes will be around $10. This should be enough to make 3 - 4 artworks as specified below.
Once you have your paint and brushes, all you need is your framed canvas which you can also get from a $2 bargain store. They vary in price and size but, to keep your project under $10, you can buy a 40 x 40cm (16" x 16") framed canvas for around $8.00.
Let's Paint -
Lay your canvas out onto your splash sheet or newspaper.
Squeeze out about 30mls (1 fluid Ounce) of one paint colour into your mixing bowl, wet a large foam brush with water and blend it in with paint. The more watery it is the easier it is to spread the paint onto the canvas, however, don't make it too watery if you want vibrant colours or textured strokes).
Visually or lightly with a pencil, divide the canvas roughly into three sections horizontally.
Apply the paint to the bottom third of the canvas in long wide strokes, remembering to paint along the sides of this section also. You can make the paint smooth or textured depending on what you like. Squeeze out more paint as necessary.
Wash out the bowl and brush or get another one and use a new colour repeating step (2).
Using the technique in step (4), paint the middle section of your divided canvas making sure to overlap the previous colour with the new one.
Repeat with another colour for the final section at the top of the canvas.
Rinse your bowl and brush again and squeeze out 30mls of white or black paint into the bowl. Add as much water as needed to make a consistency of custard.
Now comes the fun part - Dip your brush into the paint and begin flicking and or dripping paint onto the canvas randomly in one or more sections. Stop when you get an effect you find pleasing to look at.
The following step is optional - Take your garden stick or chop stick, and randomly move it through the paint blobs in straight or swirling movements around the canvas. Do not do this to all blobs, just select a few at random.
Now it's finished, allow it to dry and it's ready to hang (acrylic paint dries quickly, but how fast will depend on the room temperature and how thick your paint is).
Variations on this style are endless, for example -
Divide the canvas sections vertically, diagonally, or in four squares.
Choose one colour that will compliment your décor, and for each section mix black or white to it to alter the shade.
Instead of paint splashes you could just paint circles, spirals, random shapes, handprints, or nothing at all.
Use your imagination and do what feels right or whatever comes to mind.
Remember that what one person classifies as art, another may not understand.
Art is in the eye of the beholder and it's different for everyone.

After I brush my teeth I have a jelly like clear white peel from the inside of my cheeks?
It has about the same texture as flem. It is semi-transparent. What is this? I know I brush good and I want to know if this is normal?
I only notice and feel it come off after the brushing of my teeth. I can feel it in my mouth and I spit it out in a napkin. NO DENTAL INSURANCE BY THE WAY.
SO dental visit is not an answer at this financial time in my life. Sorry.

So you have a nice poster printing design to fill out. How exactly do you maximize the color poster space so that there are no blank areas that look wasted? Well, in this poster printing and design guide, I have a few nice tips for you in managing space. Let us start with the most obvious and that is the use of color.
Filling it up with good colors.
If you have lots of white space that you can't get rid off in your color posters, the simplest and best thing you can to is to fill the background up with color. Now, there are a few difficulties in doing this since the color must help make the design come out. It must not hinder or obstruct the design in any way. A good strategy is to use a color that is in direct contrast with all your design elements. So if you have dark colored designs, a light colored background is best and vice versa. If you still have an inclination to use white, try to use a color that is "off white" or "dirty white". All this should at least make the background look interesting and not empty.
Gradients for great effect.
If full colors are not your style or it is just not working out, then gradients will be your next option. A color gradient is basically a background or field that slowly changes colors from one to the next. The change is gradual as the colors mix slowly, giving a nice effect of shadowed or complete space. Make sure that your color choices though are appropriate and it is best to only use two color gradients instead of three. Most design software should be able to let you place this effect on your poster background.
Touch of an image background.
Now, if you still want to be a bit creative, you can use a light image on your white background to maximize the detail of your space. Of course it should be related to your design in some way. The important thing though is that it must be very light against the white background so that at least it does not distract people from the main design. Some people use a transparent light version of the main design as the image background to get this affect. It is easy enough to do this, much easier than a texture effect.
Appropriate texture effects.
You can of course also add in some texture effects to your background to at least make it appear that the white spaces are "filled out" in a way. This can make the poster look like it was made out of something else. Rock, Brick, Paper or Cloth textures are always popular for poster printing backgrounds as long as it is appropriate for the design material. If you are having trouble looking for the right one in your applications, why not try and download a texture on the Internet. There should be plenty of material that you can work on.
Lights and Shadows.
Finally, you can easily play with lights and shadows in your background design. In fact this can be a good filler that emphasizes certain parts of your layout more than others. For example, you can add a fuzzy spotlight at the center piece of your color poster while all the rest have shadowed or darker hues. This is good since you can fill out the white spaces with shadows and direct the reader's attention specifically to the lighted areas where you want them to look. A good image editing application is needed though to get the best effect.
So there! Easy right? There are plenty of things you can do to maximize the space of your poster printing and make things look complete. You don't have to worry about wasted white spaces anymore.
