When using liquid adhesive, first place the lace front wig on top of your head. Pin back the wig hair in front so that you don't end up gluing them on your forehead. Apply a very thin layer of adhesive on a small part of the lace front. Make sure to also get your real hair out of the way. You can choose to cut the baby hair or keep it out of the wig; it depends on the look you are going for. Press down the lace front wig on the part where you applied the adhesive. With a good adhesive, it should only take you about 5 seconds to press it down. After that part of the lace front wig is firmly in place, move on to the next section. To make the application easier, apply the adhesive to an inch of hair each time until you have applied adhesive and pressed on the wig from edge to edge.
When using a double-sided tape, cut the tape into 3-inch strips. The tape should be around 3.8 inches wide. Take the first strip and lay it on the patch area where the lace front connects to it. Make sure you attach the tape on the front hairline at the edge of the lace. Place the other strips of tape on the edge of the lace until you have laid down the tapes on the entire front side of the wig from edge to edge. Make sure that there are no spaces between the tapes. This should help keep the wig in place and also provide a natural looking hairline.

Lately I've been really paying attention to the way young girls and women apply their makeup. Sometimes I'm pleased, and sometimes I feel it's so unfortunate that women are cosmetically challenged. Stay with me girls!
Wow where do I begin? Ok, well first let me talk about ethnic differences and why these differences are imperative when thinking about appropriate colours in the application of makeup. A great night time look which I absolutely love (in fact, I think I think I might wear it on my date tomorrow night), is a turtle neck sweater with some great boots and a wonderful smoky eye and bronzed face to compliment this fashionable night time look. If you are fair, stick to light grays and browns. If you are dark try out some rich grays and black for contouring and shaping the eye.
During the day, doing my usual routine, I tend to unconsciously people watch without even noticing. I always realize when I'm in line at Starbucks what my next column is going to be about. Ladies, can we please, pretty please, stay away from electric blue eye shadow? Or purple, green, red or orange? Unless you are in a dance recital or play, this is unacceptable during the day. If you like to be a little edgy and experiment with your look, hey, I support you! BUT (big but), make certain that you understand the difference between tasteful and dreadful. A clear or light peachy, pink, beige or brown gloss for the lips speaks volumes in an understated classy way. If you have an important meeting, you can definitely add some eye shadow and light bronzer on the cheeks, but make sure it's appropriate for the day time hours. Those smoky eyes and super bronzed cheeks are not going to look clean unless the sun has gone down and you have a glass of wine in your hand. Well, maybe not so much a glass of wine, but you catch my drift. Sometimes girls and women that wear heavy makeup during the day tend to look overdone and even a little ridiculous.

The eye powder you choose can make or break your facial appearance. With many gorgeous colors that define who you are and the look you're trying to create, eye powder is one of the most important make-up applications you'll make.
Whether your goal is to dazzle your friends at a party, dress up for a model portfolio, or romanticize your eyes for a date, your choices of eye powder will make the difference.
Two Types of Eye Powder Applications
There are basically two ways you can apply your eye powder - wet or dry. With a wet application, you can use the eye powder as your main eye shadow and create a somewhat "shiny" look that attracts attention to the eyes immediately. The eye powder will have a shimmering appearance that glistens under the lights. You can even blend several colors of eye powders to get the look and feel you want.
To apply "wet" eye powder, use a wet/dry application brush. Dip the brush in water and then dip it into the desired eye powder. Always, dip into the darker shade first and then blend with lighter shades to reach desired color. Apply the eye powder and blend it with a different wet or dry brush to get the look you want.
Using dry eye powder also enables you to enhance your eye shadow with unique colors. First apply your normal eye shadow. Then apply a lighter shade of eye powder over it to blend colors and enhance your eye make-up. You can use like colors for a more conventional look or contrasting eye powder colors for the "shock" affect!
To try other looks with your eye powder, experiment with different size brushes, sponges and foam pads, or cloths. There are also cream-based eye shadows. Use what works best for you. If your eyes are very sensitive and tend to get watery or break out in a rash, try hypoallergenic eye powder.
Complement Your Eye Powder
Once you find the eye powder that best suits you, complement it with eyeliner and mascara. Also, test various colors of lipstick and lip liner to complete your make-up. Use glitter dusts to highlight certain areas of your eyes.
Choose colors that work for you. What looks great on your friend might look terrible when you try it. Eye powder colors should be compared with your skin tone, skin moisture level, hair color, the shape of your face, and eye color. Coordinate your best colors with your outfit.
Using wet/dry techniques to get the eye powder look you want is easy. Practice a little at home and try out some new colors before your next big event. Your eyes will shine like the stars!

I was always so amazed with cosmetics, but I was wondering does it really make a difference in what tools you use for the way your eyeshadow goes on your eyes?
Yes it does matter.
When using brushes for your eye shadow you're applying it more evenly. It also allows you to nicely blend the colors so that your eyes don't look too cakey and gaudy.

Take extra measures to ensure your painting project is an environmentally safe experience. The best quality acrylic paints are products that contain low or no volatile organic compounds (otherwise known as VOCs). These products reduce the emissions of VOCs into the home which improves indoor air quality and reduces urban smog. Check the labels on the cans for LEED certification to ensure you are using a low VOC product. LEED certified products are considered "green" or "environmentally-friendly."
Following are tips for "green" painting:
Use all the paint.
When possible, use every ounce of paint you buy. The extra coat will provide walls with more protection. Or, ask a friend, family member, or neighbor if they could use some extra paint for a small project.
Seal it tightly.
Any unused paint should be stored in tightly sealed cans and placed upside down to help maintain the seal. Don't pour leftover paint down the drain.
Dispose of paint properly.
To dispose of paint, convert it to a solid waste then dispose of it with your regular trash. To convert it to a solid waste, remove the lid to allow the water or solvents to evaporate. Do this in an area where children cannot tamper with it.
Hold off on cleaning tools immediately.
For projects that will take more than a day to complete, try wrapping your tools in a plastic bag for reuse instead of cleaning them at the end of each day. The tools will last overnight or even a few days if kept out of the sun.
Scrape the paint.
Upon completion of your project, scrape any excess paint from the can, latex rollers and brushes with a stir stick or wall scraper. Doing so prior to washing will make them easier to clean and is easier on the environment. When washing equipment, be sure to do so in a sink or similar drain so it is treated instead of ending up in the ground and in our drinking water.
Use quality water-based acrylic-latex paints.
Pure acrylic latex paints are more environmentally-friendly since they contain low levels of solvents. If using a water-based paint over an old solvent-based paint, be sure to follow the instructions for surface preparation which generally involves a good cleaning and a light sanding.

how do you clean a trumpet mouthpiece that has some green stuff on it?

brush it off or try water. Try buying a disinfectant and that might kill it if it was ever alive. Then you should be fine.
