Hi! I was wondering if anyone could give me a little insight on what I experienced last night.. me and my boyfriend are kinda stumped.. He shot a deer with an arrow last night from about 30 yrds. Watched the arrow hit the deer, and the deer jumped down as if it was trying to dodge it, but it was too late. Anyways, the deer took off, and left the arrow that hit her, in the grass. When we looked at the arrow, we noticed that the blades on the retractable broadhead he used, we closed. They never opened like they were suppose to and I think that's why it fell out. There was meat, hair, and just a tiny bit of blood on the arrow head. Now, my question is: Are these arrowheads known to fail like this and not open? Also, we were debating on whether or not the arrow may have went through the deer.. but we found no blood on the ground or on the actual arrow it's self. I assumed there would be alot of blood to go through the deer.. Never found the deer either. Could anyone explain?
i am not sure of the brand of broadheads he is using, but i use expandables, spitfires and wasp jackhammers to be exact. i do know from my local archery shop that if he was using RAGE broadheads they had a huge recall on them 1000's of them were recalled due to a design flaw that was not allowing the blades to open on impace( the leading edge of the blade was rounded) check to see what brand he is shooting

Asian eye makeup differs from region to region. The Chinese, Japanese and Thai people have creaseless eyelids. On the other hand, the Middle Eastern and Indian eyes have creased eyelids.
The crease of the eye is enhanced to give definition to the eyes. Asian eyes can carry off darker and vibrant shades due to the darker skin tones. Otherwise the technique of applying the makeup is the same as used in Caucasian eyes.
Makeup normally applied begins by touching the eyes with creams that fill wrinkles and remove puffiness, followed by the translucent foundation to help bring out the color of the eye shadow. You'll start the makeup with a darker eye shade brushed into the outer edge while the inner edge will take a lighter shade. The eyelash is emphasized with a streak of the darker eyeshadow along its edge.
Eyebrows enhance the eyes, therefore it is best to shape, brush and fix them with the help of a gel. Then you can apply mascara which also adds volume to the lashes. Sequins, glitter; shimmery eye shadows make the Asian eyes mesmerizing.
The creaseless eyes can be done up with a few Asian eye makeup tricks. A gray or brown eye shadow a few shades darker than the skin tone can be applied to create a false crease. The darker shades of eye shade and line are applied along the eye lash and then the rest of the eye is highlighted with a lighter shade.
Darker eye shadows are always applied before the light shades and the look is completed by defining the eyes with eyeliner. The usually straight lashes of the creaseless eyes can be curled with a curling wand or mascara cum curler, another option is to use pre-curled false lashes. You can apply the lashes with glue along the line of the lash, beginning from the outer edge working towards the inner, emphasizing the shape of dark eyes.
Bronze, brown, golden are the colors for Asian makeup. These not only heighten the skin color but make highlight in adding to the look of the features. This palette of colors is flattering to the eyes and hair too as they add to the highlights and shimmer. Asian eye makeup generally uses darker tones of colors and light colors which emphasize each feature.

How to prevent the lid and crease color from blending by the end of the day?
Right after I do my make-up it looks great, but by the end of the day, my lid and crease color blend together into one. Say I use a neutral for the lid and a dark brown for the crease, itll be like a medium brown color all over my eye by the end of the day.
I do use a base, and the eyeshadow doesn't CREASE, just blends. Any ideas how to prevent this from happening?

I'm looking for a digital camera with a certain quality to its pictures. I find that film creates a sense of atmosphere that is just not obtained with a digital camera - even when the pictures are edited and tweaked on the computer.

Digital is digital, film is film. You just can't make one equal to the other.
It seems you have had your share of film photography. It is not only the technical aspects that differ digital from film. The whole procedure of producing the picture is already an experience worth having with film.
To preserve that experience as much as possible, I fought hard to remain with film until the lab I went for processing finally had enough of me. Only then, about a year ago, did I get a digital SLR. The only criteria I had was adaptability to my box-full of preset and manual lenses. Through the use of old lenses, I can slow down, force myself to think and frame my shots as carefully as before with film and not fire rapidly like a machine gun and do tons of cropping and editing later.
This was made possible through the use of a Pentax K200 dSLR. All my screw mounts work perfectly just with the addition of a cheap adaptor. The viewfinder is as bright as my Pentax MX (film SLR). I can use aperture priority and manual modes and I even get focus assist so I am assured of sharp pictures when I need them.
Picture quality is still far from film but focus is much better. Perhaps it is a problem with my eyes, not the cameras.
I have since found a new lab, a hundred kilometers away from me but worth the trip. I am now shooting film again so the dSLR is relagated to backup status.
