Acrylic Gel

This article deals with cement rendering which is rendering done on a wall with the use of cement mixed with other materials for the desired effect. Why should you consider rendering for your exterior wall? You should because it is one thing you can do to beautify your home without any structural change and it gives a much better effect than paint.

What is cement rendering?

Cement rendering is the use of a thin premixed mixture of sand, lime and cement which is applied as a surface coat on a wall of brick, stone, cement or mud brick. This is often textured, painted or coloured after the application. As mentioned above, this is usually used on exterior walls but can easily be used on interior walls. Rendering can be coarse or smooth as per your requirement and the looks can be achieved very easily. You can get a natural, coloured, pigmented, textured or smooth look which is very appealing.

Cement rendering of brick, mud and stone walls of houses has been happening for centuries as this was done to improve the appearance, sturdiness and even was considered a way of weather proofing for exterior walls. Every country has its own unique way of rendering which varies in styles and colours used.

Styles

Different styles and finishes can be achieved using different tools and equipment. Finishes can be achieved by using different tools as brushes, trowels, sponges, etc. traditional rendering is an art form considering the finish required for the top coat of the rendering applied. Styles and finishes differ from tradesman to tradesman as innovation is apparent in traditional rendering as well. Finishing effects can be created from a thin finishing top coat to a finishing wash.

What is Acrylic Rendering?

Different situations and finishes require different premixes. Some premixes have a polymer additive and some have a traditional cement, lime and sand mix for an improved water resistance, adhesion and flexibility. Acrylic rendering has higher water resistance and has more strength. Acrylic rendering can be used on a variety of surfaces like cement blocks, concrete and AAC concrete panelling. If acrylic rendering is mixed correctly then it can be used on smoother surfaces like cement sheeting and new high tech polymer exterior cladding like Uni Base and even expanded Polystyrene. Some premixed acrylic renders have a distinguishably smoother surface than traditional renders. These can sometimes even be spayed on to the wall.

Now days you can even achieve a designer look with a sophisticated finishing coat that can be easily applied over an acrylic render. The coat can be sponged on, trowelled or rolled on depending upon the product. Some finishes that can be achieved are

• Lime wash

• Stone finish

• Marble finish

• Sandstone finish

• Stone chip finish

• Clay finish

• Stipple finish

• Glistening finish

Acrylic rendering takes up to 2 days to dry and cure as opposed to a 28 day wait period in the case of traditional rendering. Acrylic renders also have a water proof and an anti fungal property which is very essential for any exterior wall.

What's better for your nail's, Gel, Acrylic or Sola?

My friend got her nails done today with Sola, she was origionally supposed to get Gel but they said sola was better for people with short nails. I have medium length nails and im going to get my nails done on saturday. So what type of nails are best to get, that last long and that dont ruin your real nails?

Class Brush

I'll be the first to admit I am more of a down in the trenches, get your hands dirty type. A get in there, get that bar on your back and fork in your hand and get er done Type of guy.

I mean that's really where all the work gets done and most things are learned or at the least proven.

That said, I do also thoroughly enjoy educating myself further in the fields of training and Nutrition. Reading, talking and watching informative content to find new things to try, exploring topics in depth at times damn near the point of paralysis. Which I then again have to just shut it off and get my hands dirty again to prove or disprove these new ideas.

Recently Charles and I were having a conversation with a product designer that got very technical, though it was not above my head, I had lost the simple ability to reproduce much of the concepts or definitions in a coherent spoken language that the layperson, myself, would be able to understand. You know those times you know what is being said but you just cant relay the message.

What does this mean?? It was time to brush up on some simple terminology and definitions. We all lose such abilities like this that we do or do not use in every day talk. Its good to do a little refreshing at times so I figure I'll start a series where from time to time I give a quiz on some terms of theories that relate to fitness and nutrition.

I wont be able to tell if you cheat so I'll just have to trust you to be honest and take the test without looking to an outside source. Either way it'll be a good way for us all to stay on the up and up on some pretty fundamental vocabulary.

1. How Do You Calculate Final Velocity?

A. Velocity equals speed multiplied by time. V = s*t

A. The ability to change body position rapidly and accurately without losing balance.

B. Is the ability to sustain repeated contractions against a resistance for an extended period of time.

D. Skill and grace in physical movement, especially in the use of the hands; adroitness

5. How Is Power (P) Calculated?

A. P = Mass / velocity

B. P = Force / Time

C. P = Work / Time

D. P = Speed / work

Powder Lip

To add that finishing touch to her appearance, every woman needs some lipstick. And, still very much in fashion is red lipstick. So that you come across as that sexy, pulled-together woman that you are, here are some tips on how to wear red lipstick.

Pay particular attention to the lips. Avoiding overdoing the rest of your makeup assures the red lipstick will stand out. Eye shadows must be light to give a good look to your red lipstick. You will have a clown-like appearance if you overdo the makeup. The rest of your makeup can be toned down by using just mascara, blush and a tiny amount of powder along with your red lipstick.

Choose the correct red tone. There has been a reluctance to wear red lipstick, but it doesn't have to be the case for you! Just identify the exact color of red that suits you. For example, dark shades of lipstick suit for rosy complexion. A warmer shade of red lipstick is ideal for women with a more olive complexion.

You can even decide to match the color of your lips with your nails! The colors need to be similar, if not identical if you are going to wear red on your nails and your lips. (A good tip is not to wear red on both, to tell you the truth.) With the red lip color with you to ensure the best color match if you're going to have your nails done.

Combine the reds. Now-a-days make up artists blend many shades of red lipstick. Choose the correct red by mixing a few different reds together. And, who knows, it might be the way to use up that unusual lip color that you'd decided was a waste of money.

Outline the lip color. Use a lip liner to prevent the red lipstick from bleeding. Before applying red lipstick, use the liner to line the inside of your lips. This helps you keep your lips looking polished throughout the day.

Put on your red lipstick carefully. Be sure that you are applying your red lipstick in the right way. Begin with a lip moisturizer. Then apply with a brush a thin layer of foundation that acts as a base to retain your lipstick's color for many hours. Matched to the color of your red lipstick, outline your lips with a lip pencil. Next, smooth on your red lipstick gently. Be careful - if your makeup is too dark, your lips will stand out too much. Simply use tissue to blotch off any overdone amount of lipstick. Before you walk out the door, enhance your lips with a second layer of red, to create that polished effect.

Cosmetic Sponges

If you suffer from blotchy skin, scarring, or Rosacea, you know how tough it is to make your face look fair and even. However, there are a few easy ways to neutralize red tones in your face and kick those woes to the curb. Make your way over to your local drug store or beauty supplier for a few essential tools needed to combat the redness blues. First, you'll need to pick out a foundation that's right for you.

Go for a light, whipped foundation that contains no oil and can be easily applied with a cosmetic sponge. Match the tone to the color of your neck and chest to ensure that you are picking the right shade, as red faces are more difficult to match. Pick out a stick or wand concealer in the same shade, as well as a compact powder. The secret ingredient to the perfect face, however, is a green neutralizing stick, which is sold by most beauty retailers. This stick resembles a tube of mint-green lipstick, and will help to cover up the worst redness in your face. Also pick up a green-tinted powder with a brush applicator.

Once you have arrived home, wash your face with a moisturizing cleanser and warm - not hot - water. Hot water can easily aggravate an already red face, so stick with a more tepid temperature. Most of the people in the United States have had braces at one time or another unless you have straight teeth. If you are one of those that had braces and now have a child who has braces, you will be able to guide them along on the path of dealing with the things that come with them. Braces are known to hinder normal chewing that cleans and showers the teeth. There are many other things that will need to be done to keep the teeth and braces clean. It will not do to get cavities on top of having to wear the braces. The brackets and braces that are used will cover the exterior of the teeth but the wires attached to them will be something that will definitely get in the way.

When food gets stuck in the teeth, it will start to form plaque and this will eventually lead to cavities from the bacteria it creates. Diseases of the gum are also included in this because they are also created by bacteria and can lead to gum swelling and infection. To stop all this from happening to the child that has braces, you will need to teach them the right ways to clean their mouths and braces.

Brushing your teeth with braces on is a little different than if you do not have any. The leading dental professionals will tell you that those with braces should brush immediately after meals or after eating anything no matter how small it may be. The child will need to start bringing a small travel toothbrush with them wherever they go so they will have it handy. Listed below are some of the other ways to teach children about the proper oral care when they have braces.
