For parents, one of the most distressing things to deal with is an angry, aggressive child. It drains you mentally, and is emotionally very painful. And worse yet, you are puzzled by the cause of such aggressive behavior and how to handle it.
Do not react or respond to an angry child.
Right from childhood, we are taught not to express our anger, especially in public. However genuine that cause for anger, as children we could not ever show it, or at least not without being made to feel guilty about it. Also as parents now, we deal with angry, aggressive children by getting angry ourselves, at times setting out unreasonable punishments to them. We are reacting to anger with anger, feeling guilty about it all the time. Invariably an angry child is likely to react negatively if we deal with him harshly.
The solution is to this is not that the child can never get angry. It is an absolutely natural feeling that a child is bound to have when certain things do not go their way. The solution is to respond patiently to these feelings and help the child cope with them.
Easier said then done, you say?
Let us look at few tips on how to help an angry or an aggressive child, but before that we should differentiate between anger and aggression.
Anger is a more normal reaction caused by temporary frustration in the child.
Aggression is a more wanton desire to hurt or destroy and could indicate behavioral problems.
Helping an angry or aggressive child help themselves.
Respond positively to good behavior and thoughtful efforts. Pay compliments to the child, 'Thank you for coming in for lunch without being reminded', 'It was very nice of you to help me clear the plates from the table, and you were very good sharing your toys with our young visitor. This makes the child feel good about themselves and helps in reinforcing positive behavior.
Young children always try to show adults what they are trying and try to get them involved in their thoughts and activities. Parents that are most often very busy are annoyed by this and tend to brush off their child's requests. Aggressive behavior is often thought to be one way for a child to seek attention for itself. This often manifests in form of child anger. If you find a child beginning to get aggressive, express interest in what he is doing and ask him to show what he is working on. A simple show of affection, like a hug, can also help in calming the child down.
If a child is feeling temporary feelings of anger at not being able to get something or do something, help that child deal with those feelings of anger. Instead of reacting angrily, speak to him and nip the child anger in its bud. If the child is angry about not being able to watch a certain program, ask him for his reasons for wanting to see it. Explain to him your reasons for your not wanting him to watch it. Make him see the reasoning in your argument and offer him better alternatives to what he could be doing in his time. Thus you are telling your child that it is OK to be angry but that there are better ways of expressing it.
The best way of dealing with angry, aggressive children is to understand them and then help them deal with their feelings, by responding to them with sensitivity and kindness, not react to them by becoming strict and authoritative.

my cat gets really bad fur matting and i don't know how to stop it.?
my cat had short to medium coat and within the past year she went through a growth spurt. she now has a long beautiful coat. i brush her daily and take care of her coat as well as i know how, yet she still gets bad fur clumps around her tail and hind legs. i know they hurt her sometimes because she would pretend-nip if i want to touch them. its obvious that she wants them out because when i try to brush them, she will take it for a while until it starts hurting her, then she will bit me gently to tell me to stop or meow gently.
how i handle it is to try and brush it out, and then wait for it to grow enough so i can safely cut them out. i don't a better way to handle this.
anything i can do to not hurt her? she is such a beautiful cat and a total sweetheart. how can i save my little fluffball.
I have an American Longhair who has never had a tangle until a few months ago. He's older now and we moved so he got very stressed out and stopped grooming himself regularly. I had to get him a "lion cut" to get the mats out of his hair - it was the only way to remove them. I have another friend who has to keep her tabby with a close cut for the same reason. Check around for a good groomer who works with cats and explain what you need and they can make the best suggestion for a cut for your cat. The mats can really be painful for your kitty so he will be very relieved once they are gone (even if he does look a little silly...)
Something interesting is always happening in Paris, France, the city of lights. For the traveler, there are a great many things to see, all year round. Paris is a cosmopolitan city. It boasts a booming economy, proud cultural heritage, and of course sightseeing.
When to go?
If you want to experience the city like locals do, then go to Paris in fall or winter. That is when you can feel the vibrancy of the city without the distractions of the tourists. Christmas is the time of great beauty. But for sightseeing and tourism, you are advised to travel to Paris in the summertime. At that time, it is warm in Paris and the traffic is intense due to vast number of tourists that temporarily occupy the city; the prices are also proportionally higher.
How long to stay?
You can always stay as little as a weekend if you don't like the crowds. Make sure that you plan in advance to hit the highlights of the city. In this case, stay in downtown (more expensive) to be able to cover a lot more territory fast.
To do justice to the city, stay a week or more. In doing so, you can then visit and spend quality time in the city. You can sightsee, visit parks, visit museums, and spend time soaking in the incredible Parisian culture. You will also have a chance to visit some outlaying areas like Versailles, which is a must-see.
Where to stay?
If you are going to Paris in the peek summer season, then hotels are usually booked up and if not, they are very pricy. Many tourists look to bed and breakfast as an alternative. Also you can try staying in the suburbs, or at hostels, private residences, etc. Investigate online sources (e.g. craigslist) beforehand for great deals.
Things to see
Champs Elysees and Arc de Triomphe are absolute must-sees when you are in Paris. They are especially beautiful at night. A walk along Champs Elysees and a visit to Arc de Triomphe will be a memory you will cherish for a long time. The history, the energy, the ambiance, and the view of it are something quite unique and unforgettable.
Eiffel Tower is of course on every tourist's list. This is the most magnificent tower in the world, with the best view. When you get to the top, there are signs pointing in the direction of world cities. On a clear day, you feel that you can almost see those far cities!
Louvre is for me, the greatest museum around, and don't forget that it is the official residence of Mona Lisa. It would take you days to cover Louvre, and to see its ancient and new collection of arts and artifacts. If you have time, spend at least 2 days here.
Versailles is simply an amazing palace and gardens. Take a train from Paris to here to see the great palace build by Louis XIV. The gardens at Versailles are guaranteed to make a lasting impression on you, as you have never seen such grand gardens and so immaculately maintained. Go here early in the morning to avoid the tourist rush.

Like many of you looking to achieve beautiful eye makeup, I am constantly learning and researching tips for improving my eye makeup capabilities. Over time I have reached the conclusion that eye makeup application is not that difficult once you learn some of the "special" eye makeup techniques and eye makeup tricks. Join me as we learn how to apply professional looking eye makeup step by step.
Step 1: "Choose Eye-Shadow Colors Carefully"
Select eye-shadow colors that contrast with or heighten the coloration of your eyes instead of matching it precisely. Violet eye shadow, for instance, exposes the green in hazel eyes; topaz causes brown eyes to look deeper. Mauve, coral and gray are complimentary to blue eyes.
Eye shadow ought to also enhance your skin tone and the color in your clothing. Softened shades appear most effective in the daytime; use iridescent or brilliant colors at night, if at all.
Step 2: "Determine Your Eye Factors"
Hopefully you have noticed by now that not everyone has the same shaped eyes. This fact is very important as it will determine the eye makeup technique for applying eye- shadow. So before you proceed any further, stop and examine your eye shape by looking in a mirror or have someone else observe and tell you whether your eyes are:
classic egg-shaped (oval) or not
small and recessed or striking
close together (close set) or wide apart (wide set).
These three factors play a prominent part in the eye makeup application that follows, so it is vital that you are as accurate as possible with your observation. Perhaps have several people help with this step for a better result.
Step 3: "Shading Tips"
If your eyes are the classic egg-shaped, apply a medium shade from the eye crease to the eyelashes, a somewhat darker shade on the eye crease, and a light shadow along the browbone. Blend in the colors upwards and out. If you eyes are less than perfect ovals, you are able to redefine their shape with shadow. Bear in mind that a light color will bring an eye area forwards; a dark color will reduce it.
To make small or sunken eyes seem bigger, use a pale shade from the browbone to the lashes. Broaden them even more by employing a small "V" of slightly darker shade just on the far side of the outer eye corners. Large eyes will appear smaller if you use a dark shade all over the full lid just about to the browbone.
To make close-set eyes appear farther separated, use a pale shade on the third of the eyelids nearest the nose, a darker shade close to the temple. Reverse this to cause wide-set eyes to appear closer together.
Step 4: "Shaping Techniques"
Utilize a liquid or pencil eyeliner to accent shape. Draw a thin line as near the eyelashes as possible, as well on the outer third of the lower lid; smear it lightly for a natural look.
Step 5: "Mascara Tricks"
For a "wide-awake" effect, use an eyelash curler prior to putting on mascara. Hold up the curler near the base of the eyelashes and squeeze; count to three, then let go. Move the curler further out towards the tips of the lashes and squeeze once again.
Put on mascara with your eyes open. Grasping the wand vertically, coat the tips of the upper eyelashes, and then drag the wand horizontally across the lashes from base to tips. If you wish, you can likewise brush mascara to the lower lashes. If any eyelashes bunch up, divide them with the wand tip. Employ a cotton swab for cleanups.
Congratulations! If you closely followed the basic eye makeup techniques and eye makeup tricks as directed above, you should now be looking at some beautiful eye makeup. If you did not get the results you wanted, please try again. Like most things in life, whether learning to ride a bicycle, learning to skate, etc., it all gets easier and better with practice. In no time at all you will be able to apply such perfect eye makeup that your friends will think you paid to have it done!

When it comes to design the label made in Italy is almost arguably regarded as the top. From their cars to their furniture, Italian design carries a flare that is hard to outshine, usually favoring aesthetics beauty over functionality. If there is one thing that Italian design is known for, its suits. Since the 1950's when movie stars of the day favored the revolutionary fitted cuts of Italian suit design house Brioni, to the 1980's status symbol of the unconstructed Armani suit, Italian suits have been the embodiment of style for decades. What many people do no realize is that the Italian cut suit, in its truest for really does not exist any more. Many things have changed over the years In regards to Italian suits. Mostly due to the fact that with each avant garde designer, comes fresh new ideas that turns the current version of an Italian cut suit completely around.
The Idea that is an Italian Suit
Through all the changes two things are certain.
1. The best suits are still considered to be Italian.- As previously stated as consumers we have been conditioned to believe that Italian suits are the best. Many stores and brands charge a premium for their clothing that is made in Italy, prominently marketing their goods as such.
2. That the term Italian cut is more of an Idea that an actual physical thing.- What makes it a better product is not all smoke and mirrors, as Italian design is a hot bed for innovative and creative thinking. While British sartorial mainstays of Savile Row have focused on tradition and craftsmanship, Italy has played with convention, always asking the question of how to make things different. If there is anything you can be sure of, its the fact that, it will turn heads.
Is it a better suit
What makes Italian suits arguably better than other suits is really a combination of culture and marketing. Design and beauty is highly regarded in traditional Italian tailoring, while British tailors favored suits made of heavy materials that were functional in the foggy confines of London, Italian tailors focused on soft drapey suits perfect in their sunnier and warmer climate. This allowed for suits that moved with the wearer, light and airy and over all more relaxed. While Londoners flocked to Savile Row tailor shops for their formal wear and work wear, Italian custom suits were worn for pleasure. Over decades this created a signature swagger and a style that while flashy was very easy to wear. As far as quality goes, many British and American brands boast much more hand made detailing than most Italian brands, but when it comes to design it isn't easy to top a well made Italian suit.

I don't know about you, but I prefer quality over quantity any day. When it comes to dating women, this is especially true. I would much rather attract a woman that is a 10 on all points, than 3 women that are only a 5. To attract high quality women, you have to really understand the mindset that will make this happen. If you can get the mindset down, you are much more likely to seduce quality women.
How can you master the art of seducing high quality women?
1. You have to have the right presentation. Look, she's the kind of woman that can attract any guy she wants. So, you have to up your game a little. You have to go out there and look the part of the high quality male. Otherwise, she is not going to even think twice about you.
2. You have to be able to use conversation to build rapport and show your quality. The fact is, most high quality women are not really looking to have a roll in the hay with a busboy. You have to be able to show her that you are on the level of men that she would like to date. You have to speak to her in a way that shows this. And it has to be REAL.
3. You have to have genuine confidence. A high quality woman is used to being around men that are confident. She's used to being around guys that are naturally this way. So, you have to be able to really have that level of confidence in yourself. This is not fake it till you make it time. This is good for you, as developing genuine self confidence will help you in ALL areas of your life.

cross checking of quality quantity of petroleum crude oil exploration how to verify?
Your question is not clear. Please specify. I suppose you are speaking about well testing but not sure. In absence of precision, I will give you a general workflow on the method for assessing the quality and quantity of oil in the rock.
Before drilling a well, a seismic is generally shot. It means that vibrations (through air guns in water or truck shaking on land) will be generated, the sound will propagate in the ground and will reflect at the interface of the various rock layers. It will give an idea whether there is trap to keep the oil and how big are these traps. Advanced analysis can even give some clues on the type of fluids in these traps (water, gas or oil). So we get the POSSIBLE/PROBABLE RESERVES.
When a well is drilled, there is inside the drilling assembly of most well a certain set of tools called MWD or LWD (Measurement While Drilling and Logging While Drilling which is one step further). The MWD/LWD is measuring downhole some parameters such as the well inclination and direction toward north, the resistivity of the rock, the natural radioactivity of the rock, the vibration and mechanical parameters (weight, torque etc...). The LWD can also give information on the porosity, the type of hydrocarbons etc... So we get the THICKNESS OF THE RESERVOIR ROCK, THE THICKNESS OF THE OIL/GAS ZONE AND THE POSSIBLE TYPE OF FLUID (OIL/GAS)
Once the well is drilled, the company will 'logged' the well with a set of tools which will give as well all parameters recorded with MWD/LWD plus some extras like permeability, hydrocarbon density etc... Samples can be taken as well and the time for taking a sample at a given pressure will give an idea on the permeability of the rock. The fluid taken downhole are brought and later are carried detailled analysis, called PVT and petrochemical analysis (for Pressure/Volume/Temperature). So we get the ACCURATE THICKNESS OF THE RESERVOIR AND THE HYDROCARBON ZONE, THE TYPE OF HYDROCARBONS DOWNHOLE, THE POSSIBLE PRODUCTION LEVEL OF THE WELL.
However, people in the oil company really like it big and practical, so they are carrying well test. Basically, they will allow the well to produce the oil or the gas, measure with various settings the amount of oil and gas produced and the quality of the oil, mainly the density and for the gas the various gas components (Methane, Ethane, Propane, Butane and iso-Butane, Pentane and iso pentane). The fluids produced by the well passes through a separator, separating oil from water and from gas and sand. Then the flow(quantity) is measured using various type of flowmeters. Now it is even possible to measure flow without separators by using multiphase flowmeters allowing the calculation of the relative flow of oil, gas and water. So we get the TYPE OF FLUID REALLY PRODUCED AT SURFACE AND THE AMOUNT IT IS POSSIBLE TO PRODUCE IN SAFE CONDITIONS.
I hope this answer your question.

If you have an old looking bathroom trying to make it look brand new doesn't have to be so expensive as it seems. You just need a good idea and all will close in a quite small budget.
Of course the bathroom should be functional and its look isn't so important. But from many reasons the way it looks may change our mood and give our home more exclusive look in general. The more sophisticated bathroom, the more higher standard of our house.
It seems that budget might be a great trouble to make bathroom look nice. But not if you know how to redecorate it with a few good ideas and some fantasy. So how can you do that?
1. Choose one theme.
Think about one theme that suits you the most. The amount of things that you can choose of is very big. You can decide on some shells, boats or even flowers. This theme will lead in all decorations that will appear in you bathroom.
2. Decide on specific colors.
Keeping bathroom and its decorations in one or two leading colors might change its look. It won't look so ordinary but very classy. This will also help you organize you shopping, cause in most of shops with decorations things are placed in colors.
3. Buy a cheap paint.
That's not a problem to buy a cheap paint. You just have to look around in shops if there are some sales of paints that were premixed and then not purchased. Or spend some time on comparing prices in your local stores, or use a mixture of your old painting with a little bit of new one.
If you decide try to imagine how your bathroom may look like. Let's take an example. Assuming that you leading theme is seashell, colors blue and brown and the painting is in some light brown color, what can you do with that?
Seashell is very good scheme for bathrooms. And also quite inexpensive. In almost every home you can find some shells brought home from a holiday trip over the sea. Some of them are large and some of them are small, but all of them you can use at your bathroom. Small shells you can put in a different sizes jars that you might find in stores with home accessories (or in your kitchen). Those jars you can put all over your bathroom - only if you find the place for it and will leave you space for something else. You might also prepare some jars in a sand in it. Big seashells can be putted freely.
Seashell as a theme might be also a big part of your bathroom accessories. Shower curtains, waste basket, toothbrush holder, towels, floor coverings, plate for a soap, candles etc., all of them might be with "ocean" ornament. But if the leading theme will be on too many decorations it will look trash not exclusive. And that's the moment when the leading colors might be helpful. In this case bathroom mats might be brown or blue with no seashell theme. They can match the floor mats in the rest of the house - maybe in color or size. All of those items you can find in very cheap prices.
Before you put all of those items into your bathroom you should paint it first. It will probably take some time till its dry. And then you can slowly ad some of those new decorations, observing everyday if that's what you want in your bathroom and if not just replacing the items.
That is how you can redecorate your bathroom in low budget - just a little bit of imagination and a good idea is all you need.

Roger Moore was introduced as James Bond in this 1973 action movie featuring secret agent 007. More self-consciously suave and formal than predecessor Sean Connery, he immediately reestablished Bond as an uncomplicated and wooden fellow for the feel-good '70s. Roger Moore was introduced as James Bond in this 1973 action movie featuring secret agent 007. More self-consciously suave and formal than predecessor Sean Connery, he immediately reestablished Bond as an uncomplicated and wooden fellow for the feel-good '70s. This film also marks a deviation from the more character-driven stories of the Connery years, a deliberate shift to plastic action (multipl...
A lot of people are aware of the value of natural remedies when caring for a sick dog. However, not enough people actually take the time to get the remedies and then use them to bring their dog back to health. This is only because there is some confusion about what the actual natural remedies are and where to get them. In this article, I will answer some of the most frequently asked questions about using natural remedies when caring for a sick dog.
What can I do if my dog has an ear infection?
Some of the basic cooking oils that you have in your home can be used to treat this. Olive, almond or mineral oil are great natural remedies if your dog has an ear infection.
Is there a natural flea repellent for dogs?
Absolutely! Just as it will scare away the vampires, so will it scare away the blood sucking fleas. You guessed it - Garlic. It is a natural flea repellant. OK, so I can't actually guarantee the vampire part, but for kicking those fleas into never-never land, garlic does the trick.
My dog has itchy skin and is scratching all the time - what can I do?
I'm sure you've given your dog a bath before. Well, the next time you strap on the scuba gear to do a doggie wash, put a handful of oats in the bath water beforehand and then while you are giving your dog a bath, pour the bath water all over their skin, and it will help to soothe their irritated skin. Sure they'll shake all over the place to dry themselves off, so you'll most likely get to share part of the oat water, but that's OK. They're just trying to help your skin too.
What if my dog has dry skin patches - can I do something about that?
You bet there is. This is one of the simplest natural remedies that you can use when caring for a sick dog. It can be used after the oat water bath, or just by itself. Just as you can often use Vitamin E on a sun burn on your own skin to take that redness and soreness away, you can also use that same Vitamin to give them some fast relief by putting some on the dry skin area. Vitamin E works very fast to tackle the dry skin problem. And dogs, being the logical critters that they are, won't stop scratching until there is no more itch to scratch.
My dog seems to have sore feet sometimes - is there anything I can do?
Absolutely, and your dog will love you even more for it. There is nothing like a nice foot bath to take the soreness away from tired feet. And since dogs spend so much time on their feet every day, they sometimes end up having problems with them. Epsom salts added to water and then used to soak your dog's feet will give them huge relief. But there is a little trick to this -- you have to be very careful that your dog doesn't drink that water when you are done. Make sure they have cool, clean water available before the foot soaking so that they don't mistake the Epsom salts water for their own
There are many more natural home remedies for dogs of course, and now that you've read this article I'm sure you'll want to know what other remedies are available to you when you are caring for a sick dog.

Can I put table salt in a foot soak?
I know you're suppose to use epsom salts but I don't have any. Does it matter? What exactly does it do?
Table salt will be fine - I've used it in a pinch.
Epsom salts are stronger and more easily absorbed by the body and help remove toxins a lot better (but not as good as Dead Sea Salt).
Use about a half cup of salt and a half cup of baking soda. The baking soda will soften the water so your feet will drink it up better and both will kill bacteria and stuff that lead to stinky feet, athletes foot and certain funguses (fungii).
