One of the easiest ways to get ripped off in the automotive world is by having a body shop use cheap, third-party auto body parts on your car repair. Like all auto parts, body parts have a tremendous markup, and if you don't know what you are doing, it can be easy to be taken advantage of by unscrupulous repair centers. Insisting on using OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) parts will secure that your repair job comes off perfectly, and you wind up with a vehicle that is "as good as new."
Unfortunately, fender-benders and accidents can happen, and at these times car owners can become understandably flustered and confused. The entire process of dealing with insurance companies, filing police reports, and seeking estimates from body shops can be a bit overwhelming. It's not surprising then, that many people just want to put the entire experience behind them, and they rush through the process of having their auto repaired.
But this can be a big mistake in several ways. For example, unless you specify the type of parts you would like to use on your repair, and are prepared to oversee the repair to make sure it is to your satisfaction, many body shops will use cheap, third world quality replacement auto body parts, lowering the value of your vehicle.
Why would a body shop knowingly do this? As usual, the answer comes down to money. If your insurance company reimburses the auto shop $2000 for the job, and they can buy a cheap "knock off" auto body parts for one third the cost of standard quality parts, this results in a great deal of profit to the body shop!
But while this may be wonderful for the body shop's bottom line, it is terrible for the car owner. You can easily wind up with substandard auto body parts on your car, or even parts that do not fit perfectly.
Of course, the best way to avoid all this is to use OEM car parts. You never have to concern yourself about either the quality or the fit of your auto body parts if you insist upon OEM. And if a body shop mechanic should attempt to talk you out of using OEM body parts, you should be very skeptical. The odds are, they are simply trying to lower their expenses in order to increase profits. Don't fall for it!
Other times, body shop mechanics will ensure you that they only use OEM body parts, but you still need to be diligent and examine the final work. Unfortunately, somebody shops will claim to use only OEM parts, but in reality they are substituting cheaper "knock offs" that wind up on your car. Besides being unethical and disreputable, this is also illegal and it is called fraud. If you discover a body shop misrepresenting the parts they are selling you, it is recommended that you contact both the police and the Better Business Bureau.
In general though, most body shops will gladly use OEM parts when requested. If you have any doubt about the reputation of the body shop, be sure to also get it in writing. That way you will have documentation if it should be needed to prove fraud or other wrongdoing in the future.
Insisting upon OEM auto body parts for your car repair will ensure your vehicle is returned to you in "factory new" condition.

We tend to get all too excited with the growing evidences that the economic recovery is just around the corner. These positive indicators do not give us enough reasons for us to return to our old ways and lower our guard on our spending. Those little cutbacks here and there are what could have tide you over during the most difficult times in the past. This brings us to the things that we must do amid the lingering economic difficulties. We may not have to make BIG sacrifices this time, but there is still room for some improvement as we try to stem and manage the expense side of finances.
Here are some little EXTRAS which you might seriously consider to add in your list of "must-do."
1. Avoid paying annual fees for your credit cards. There are other credit cards that don't charge annual fees and still offer the same perks such as travel insurance and warranty extensions.
2. Use VoIP service provider to cut down on your phone bills. You will spend about $30 for your local and long distance calls plus your caller ID and messaging.
3. Before you make your final choices, consider as many proposals and quotes as possible for your auto and home insurance to ensure that you are getting the best deals possible. It is important that you put yourself on a short leash every time you enter the grocery store. And the best way to do this is by having a checklist. Research has shown that over 60% of consumer purchases are considered impulse buys. You can better manage your expenses if you have a list of essentials every time you visit the supermarket.
You can think of other cost saving measures which you can implement in your home. The key to success of any cost saving option is the commitment and support of each member of your household. Walk down any major mall and you will most likely see one or more salon specializing in manicures and basic fingernail health products. There is a misconception that fingernail health is best left up to the mall "experts", yet in reality most common fingernail problems such as split fingernails or cracked fingernails can be easily fixed at home if you know a few simple tips.
Poor fingernail health may be caused by a variety of factors including regular contact with potent household cleansers, excessive use of nail polish remover, sickness, or even genetic causes. The consequence is frail, delicate or brittle fingernails that can lead up to a host of fingernail problems.
Tip #1: "An Ounce of Prevention"
To fortify fingernails naturally, use rubber gloves for household jobs, and keep hands out of very hot water. Rub in cuticle ointment each day. Put on hand lotion after washing your hands and prior to bedtime. Try not to utilize your fingernails for digging out and prying, and keep them filed and snag free. Healthy fingernails are easy with a little "TLC" (tender loving care) and a measure of common sense.
Tip #2: "Beware the Tear"
If you are noticing fingernails splitting, tearing, or cracked fingernails, immediately fix them with a bead of instant-bonding nail glue. Hold the glue away from your eyes. Whenever any glue contacts your skin, get rid of it immediately with nail polish remover. After the glue dries just file the surface area smooth.
Tip #3: "Put the Peelers under Wraps"
For bad fingernail nails that tend to peel off or rip, try out tape wraps that come in fingernail kits. (This is not the same as "nail wrapping" as discussed in the next tip.) Adhere the tapes on the ends of your nails, trim the tapes to size, then wind the edges around the tips and beneath your fingernails. Fasten them with the finishing up liquid in the kit, and then polish your nails.
Tip #4: "Hangnail Surgery 101"
A hangnail is a rip in the cuticle or in the skin by the sides of a fingernail that is induced by dryness, picking, or biting. It is safest to get rid of the hangnail as soon as you detect it, before it gets sore or contaminated. Utilize clean, sharp cuticle scissors and snip it close to its base. Wash your hands, put on antibiotic cream to the surface area, protect it with a little bandage, the leave it alone! Do not chew or tug on a hangnail. If painfulness increases or pus takes form, see a physician. To prevent hangnails, put on rubber gloves when washing dishes, and utilise hand cream frequently. How to remove false nail glue?
I recently put on false nails, then decided i didnt like them and gently eased them off. I still have the glue on my fingernails, how can i remove this. I do not have any nail varnish remover and am unable to go and get some today. But i would like the gllue off today. Any suggestions? eg - around the house things?

You can try soaking your hands in really warm water, to see if the heat will allow you to pick at the glue after it has been softened. But if you do, it can actually hurt, as your natural nail is poked and prodded, which can cause stress on your nail matrix, causing damage to the new nail that is forming. I'd either leave the glue on until I could get some remover, or talk to a friend or neighbor to see if you can borrow some.

Stop wishing and prepare your materials caused today you will create your own terrain. Creating a flocked hills and rocky formations for Warhammer is not just complicated compared in making buildings and towers. Although constructing buildings is more commendable and needs more creativity but as long as you are willing and have the heart to let it all out in creating a Warhammer terrain you can make anything. Almost anything you can make such as towers, houses, churches, castles, bunkers, factories and and pretty much anything part of Warhammer gaming. That all for the introduction and its time to gather all the materials needed for its time to stop the talking and start working.
Materials list

o paint brush (medium sized one will do)

Step 1 Outline and cut your windows and entrance ways
Use a space marine cadet to size up the doors on your foam board they should fit through the doors. They're actually able to fit through the windows too but that's not entirely necessary if you choose to make the windows a different size. Lets not include what is the measurement of the foam board that we will be using for the height and length of the walls for we have our own design and size of the building to be made. Just buy a sheet of foam board with a size of 20 inches x 30 inches will serve for a good sized miniature building.
So, we draw and trace the desired design the cut out the doors and windows. To save some of your time you can cut out a template and trace the template for future use.
Next, creating the side wall of the building. To assume the wreckage you can roughed the side walls.
Step 2 Installing Popsicle sticks for added support
This next step is the crucial and important because you are going to add extra support to your structure so that it will not easily be break down. But this step will not give you a hard time, first begin by slicing out Popsicle length strips in each level or story of the front side of the building. Next is glue the Popsicle sticks in the slots you have just created.
(Note: slicing too deep in the foam board will cause you to deface the front side of your wall.)
Step 3 Cut and glue down your floors and walls together
This step is the craftiest and needs an extra patience because it takes a little concentration and hands that are not shaky. Line up your three wall together to measure the size of your floors. You will then see what will fit in as a floor for each level or story. You can choose to roughed also the edges of the floor to indicate wreckage same as what you've done for the side walls. to give some give some variety and design on the floors you can add up some wooden sub-flooring made from Popsicle sticks.
Step 4 Scuff and add rebar
This will be the most unique part of creating a terrain for you will destroy some part of the building you made in order emphasized the damaged parts of the building. It's the best part actually. Don't be afraid and hesitate go ahead and try and you will see the result. But don't destroy all, randomly create explosion holes and bullet hole marks throughout the front sides.
And going in for a closeup to see some added rebar which is glued in place .
Step 5 Prime building
Acrylic black paint is what to be use in priming the whole building. You can add some fine sand to texture your paint this will add a rough concrete like texture to the structure and will give a different look and result when its time to dry brush later.
Step 6 Paint building
Next step is paint the building with gray paint. Make sure not to put a lot of paint on the brush. Creating a dry brushed look with the gray paint exposing about 5 percent of the black is best. Otherwise priming it in black would be meaningless. After painting it with gray dry brush it with white paint but this time make sure it's a very light dry brushing. And finally add a light green to accent the building. Otherwise it would be gray only and dull. Also add variety on the floors by painting it with yellow and brown colors.
Alas, there you have it! A simple multilevel building wrecked and blown up to give it character and unique look. We hope this inspires some nice terrain ideas. Feel free to tell us what you think of this project. Any ideas or suggestions are welcome and encouraged.

-take a paper towel
-pour a small amount of extra virgin olive oil on it (this will soften the bristles of your brushes and break up the makeup particles)
-wipe your brushes on the oil back and forth until the makeup comes off
-wet the brushes
-then use a pea size amount of shampoo and put on brushes back and forth
-wet the brushes to a point and leave to dry
P.S. I dont recommend using regular shampoo and conditioner unless your brushes are made of real hair. if they're synthetic, then olive oil and a gentle shampoo will do the trick.
